Bought an older trailer that needed work. These brake kits worked great. They came with everything needed to replace the old ones. Super easy install. 4 nuts on the back connect 2 wires install the drum adjust and done.
The brake assemblies were a perfect fit with the bearing race surfaces of my existing spindle. They electric brakes engage and disengage properly

Time to replace original brakes on Jayco travel trailer. Bought two fully assembled genuine Dexter trailer brake kits. One kit for each axle. Purchase price was excellent and received fully assembled as described. Packaging was great with no damage. Free shipping! The brake assemblies looked good with no issues. Definitely new! Installed with no issues. No missing hardware. Their website was easy to use. Will buy from them again. As a side note, really appreciate the videos they provide on their website to help as required.
etrailer customer service for returns and their products as a whole are third rate at best. Every product arrives damaged from terrible packaging and handling by etrailer. Customer service sometimes responds and their return policy is garbage at best. buy elsewhere
I got these parts as back-up parts. After having brake failure in the last leg of a 4000 mile trip I decided that having replacement parts on hand was a great idea. etrailer and I have been doing business for over 15 years. Joshua L - 10/30/2022My trailer brakes were inoperable, and these complete assemblies make it easy especially if your not familiar with drum style brakes and all the springs.
The job was very tedious as my original backing plates (2014) didn’t want to unbolt easily
I was happy to have been able to get ALL Dexter branded stuff to make sure everything would fit the way it was meant to. No additional fabrication was needed. It was simply splicing the brake wires back together and bolting everything down

I purchased a brake assembly and hub kit for my travel trailer. I had a 100% positive experience with etrailer. Very helpful in placing my order.
All parts were correct and fit perfectly.
The only minor problems I encountered were as follows. The printed instructions included with the hubs were copies, that had been recopied about 3000 times. Practically illegible. One of the brake assemblies arrived without the small plastic clip that secures the wires for the brake magnet to the backing plate. Both of these small problems were "in the box" from Dexter and not the fault of etrailer
I will have no hesitation dealing with etrailer in the future.

etrailer had the best price I could find with fast shipping. These were factory replacement parts from Dexter and made the whole process of changing the brakes easy. They also worked as designed once I adjusted them.
These brakes appear to be excellent quality and installation was very easy. Plus the e-trailer videos were very helpful.
Fit perfectly on an old horse trailer
Everything arrived but I was surprised that small parts weren't lost because one cardboard box (brake drum) had split open and the inner bag (lug nuts, etc) was ripped.. I would encourage the packers to make sure packages are sturdy enough for the trip.
