These trailer brake assemblies act as part of your trailer's hydraulic braking system. A hydraulic trailer brake actuator is required for these brakes to function.
These brake assemblies meet the requirements for certification by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The CSA creates standards, which when complied with ensure a safe and quality product. These brake assemblies underwent extensive testing to measure stopping distances when braking. These brakes have also been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup and under real-world conditions to provide the most realistic scenario for the everyday driver.
Each shoe on these brake assemblies is lined with automotive-grade friction material for improved stopping performance and longevity. The friction material is fully bonded onto the surface of the brake shoe. This lining is custom-molded for a perfect fit. The edges are tapered to ensure long-lasting performance. This taper, along with the circular grinding that the lining undergoes, helps to prevent cracking and crumbling. This durability helps to prevent mechanical lockup, which can occur when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken.
The friction material is also SAE-N certified, which means that it is an environmentally safe product that complies with California and Washington regulations regarding the composition of brake pads. As a result, this material not only provides high-performance braking that can endure the test of time, but it is also environmentally friendly and safe for use throughout the United States and Canada.

Fit 14", 14", and 15" wheels.The parts were the correct brake kit that I needed and was nice to just have to put them on and not rebuild the backing brake plate. I think it is the only way to go when fixing your trailer brakes and I would recommended them to any one. It would have been way more expensive to fix it any other way.
This went into a 30 year old boat trailer. Lost a grease seal and coated the brakes. I wanted to replace everything. I wish I would of bought the hardware with brakes. Would of saved me a 60 mile round trip. Everything went together easy.
The advice I got was spot on, and my parts arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Surge brakes and bearings were easy to install. I will continue to buy from etrailer. Thanks!!

Outstanding no issues they work as intended
Took longer than expected delivery date. It was 2-3 day shipping and it took 11 days.

This product made a huge difference on my boat trailer. The pressed studs are good and "bad" on my opinion. The set I replaced had a standard nut and bolt to attached the assembly. The studs are great, but forced me to use a wrench instead of impact to tighten the nuts on because there isnt enough clearance on my application for a socket. Installed fairly easy and there is a noticable difference in stopping ability. To be fair, the set a relaxed had no braking material and was simply metal to metal. I would def purchase again if needed. Great customer service as well. I got an email to let me know the product shipped, and something I havent experienced before, I also received an email from someone to let me know the parts were delivered!

After about a year my trailer brakes ar working like they are still new!!!
I am super happy with my replacement of the electric brakes on my camping trailer with this Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator and Hydraulic Brakes. It works SO much better than electric brakes ever did. I feel much safer towing the trailer now.
Very grateful these were available, as I couldn’t locate locally. The only problem was the backing plate hardware didn’t match my Eagle boat trailer, ( my original backing plates had captivated nuts ) but very glad to have trailer brakes again

Only comes with studs no nut for them. Speacal fine thread nut. Also shipping was very very unacceptable. Not happy

These brakes do come with the mounting bolts however do not come with washers and nuts. You can reuse the ones that you have if they are in good condition or we do carry replacements part # BRKH10B. Customer service will be in touch about the shipping experience.
These are the way to go easier and cheaper to install then the individual components . Pictire of old and new
These brake kits are a great solution instead of trying to piece together an old, rusty set up. I did R & R the new brake shoes just so I can lubricate the backing plate where the shoes ride and I did have to drill a 3/8" hole in each backing plate for the water flush fitting. That's just me. Other than that these were a breeze to install and could very well be installed as-is right out of the box.

The brakes I ordered and put on my 98 Nitro trailer a year ago work perfect, have no problem going off the mountain at all, would recommend them to anyone for trailer brakes.
