This Blaylock EZ Lock is designed to work with Bulldog Collar-Lok couplers that fit 1-7/8", 2", or 2-5/16" hitch balls. After it has been secured, this coupler lock renders your trailer's coupler inoperable, ensuring peace of mind.
With the slanted side of the lock pointing toward the front of the coupler, simply place the coupler lock's raised ball up under the coupler and into the coupler's ball hole. The sides of the lock will surround the coupler. Slide the 3/4" diameter pin through the holes in the lock and secure the pin in place with a padlock (sold separately).

Did not fit my trailer with 2 5/16 ball. Throat was too narrow to go over trailer hitch.

Issue I have is it was purchased to lock around a standard size Load Rite Boat trailer Coupler. It will not fit. Maybe 1/4" too narrow on the inside diameter This should be pointed out clearly, in the product description.
I think I can make the necessary modifications, but shouldn't have to do this.

This is the best lock for a Bulldog Style hitch i have seen. We used this lock to integrate into our Master Lock Keyed Alike System. No more hunting up the missing key; time and money saver at work and at home.

Trevor - 04/05/2018I've used these for years Functional. Effective. I have several trailers, using my own keyed alike locks I don't have to keep up with different keys for different trailers.
Good product but not usable on my hitch which is compound locking. Good only for the standard lever lock hitch.

works only for very specific hitches with very very narrow flange around the ball area. make sure the dimensions work for you. Mine sit on the shelf unused
Thomas - 08/26/2019Appears that it will do the job. It's not very complicated, clamps on hitch to make trailer stay where you park it.
Looks like good quality piece, just too small to fit my 2 5/16” tongue. The uprights that hold the pin will not fit around the tongue. I should’ve done my homework and ordered the TL 33.
Mike L - 02/08/2019the blaylock bulldog style receiver lock is just what I had hoped.they say it is made from hd aircraft aluminum and I have no cause to doubt that.the lock rod is hardened steel.although it has not been tested(theft attempt)it does give me peace of mind when I leave home. it seems to be a fine u s made lock and fits good,is easy to put on and remove.i'm happy with it.
This theft deterrent works just fine, super easy to use WHICH MEANS YOU SHOULD USE IT !!! Any theft system is really to stop the person that is not fully prepared to steal something. So using this is 80% of the solution to having your trailer borrowed permanently. Easy to put on and you have to use the disk style lock as this is the only lock that can't be cut into by bolt cutters. Do not use a cheap pad lock or the thieves will go at the WEAK part of the system.
Steve K - 01/29/2015love these. fit many trailer balls & I can use my own locks. Hole is a bit narrow for standard "Discus" locks, but 10 sec with a burr on the drill fixes that.
This fits my travel trailer hitch and I can use the padlock of my choice, which is the Bolt padlock.
Excellent product, fast shipping and built to handle! This is no cheap plastic trailer tongue lock, very heavy duty and will accept any standard lock, which I needed to interchange lock keys on occasion.
Highly recommended and etrailer is the only place I could find this type of lock.
The trailer lock doesn't fit my trailer.

The coupler lock is a great idea!
Easy to use, and made from light weight cast aluminum.
The lock pin will accept any standard sized padlock.
I like that the lock pin also covers hitch latch, to prevent tampering.
Pros: Light weight, small, simple, good finish, easy to use, cast aluminum wont rust or corrode.
Cons: Cast aluminum, could be quickly cut through with hacksaw.
Locks only keep the honest people from stealing your stuff, but its better than not having any lock.
Have not used the product yet but the customer service was GREAT. Spoke with Ashley and she new the answer to all my questions and helped get all my parts ordered. They arrived 3 days ahead of time too. Awesome company to work with!

Bought for my son who just bought a trailer for his four wheeler . I didn't want his trailer sighted to be stolen, the guy he bought it from had it stolen before it was recovered and locked!! This lock will detour theives prowling for an easy steal!! Thanks for having a product that's affordable and easy to connect !!
The bees knees for locking up a BullDog trailer hitch. Just be sure not to skrimp on the lock for this. Get the lock that does not expose the shackle to a crook's bolt cutters!
