This heavy-duty coupler lock obstructs access to your trailer coupler to prevent would-be thieves from hitching your trailer to their tow vehicle and driving off with your gear.
Durable Construction
The lock is constructed of extruded, tempered aluminum, making it strong and durable. The lock housing features a double nickel chrome finish, and the shuttered keyhole protects the inside of the lock from the elements. Complete with a silver powder coat finish, this coupler lock is attractive, sturdy, and rust resistant.
Quick, Simple Operation
To install this lock on your coupler, insert the key and rotate it to release the locking pin. Slide the lock body onto the flat lip of your trailer coupler. Push the locking pin into the hitch ball socket to engage, rotate the key back to lock the pin in place, and remove the key.

Fits great on my big tex trailer with 2” ball hitch. Not sledge hammer proof, but would be difficult and noisy to pry off with a big bar. Uses normal cut keys too, so little chance of breaking the key off or stripping a round hex key. It is made of aluminum, which is great for corrosion resistance, but steel might be stronger. The locking pin is stainless steel though. Nice powder coat finish, too.

After a year, the lock is still in good shape after being outside the whole time. No rust or other issues, opens and closes fine. Still provides an extra layer of security for my trailer.

Ordered this product keyed alike with two other locks. Mistakingly, this was not sent keyed alike as the other two. Called Etrialer and immediately they acknowledged the mistake and processed the order to ship me the product keyed alike. I will be taking my boat on a trip this weekend and they even offered tk have it shipped to where I would be. Customer Service is always excellent. Thats why they are always my first choice and I always buy from them.

Key is thin and flimsy - bent easily then broke off inside coupler (luckily I managed to remove it). HOWEVER - etrailer was great about getting me a replacement key. I was blown away by how helpful Kim was to make sure I was taken care of!)

This inexpensive little trailer lock from etrailer works great. It is quick and easy to install and remove. Its sturdy aluminum construction makes it a formidable theft deterrent. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Four Stars because nobody has tried to steal it. Yet. However, I'm pleased with the fit on my 1 7/8" trailer tongue. I feel pretty sure a sledge hammer would knock it off, but how many thieves are packin' sledge hammers?! I also put a Masterlock on the trailer latch. At this point, I would recommend both!

It's a theft deterrent and will not stop a thief equipped with some simple trick from getting your trailer. But better than no protection.

- Are Replacement Keys Available for etrailer.com LocksThere will be a number on both the lock core and keys for etrailer.com coupler locks. This number is usually a zero followed by two other numbers. The three digit numeric value will correspond to the correct cut needed to operate the lock. If you already have an etrailer.com lock and just need the replacement keys then you you need to find the key number and we would be happy to help.
