Today we're gonna be taking a look at the panel lock right hand spring latch. Spring latch's can be used for a variety of applications. The spring latch is reliable and used primarily on hinged doors and panels. It would be great for gates, trailer tailgates, and other light weight doors. The unit's gonna feature smooth, trouble free, action. It provides easy access and secure closure.
It's gonna have the cone style pen end and it's gonna feature the tensioned tempered spring that provides positive pen release and return. At the end of that spring is a C ring and that's gonna prevent the spring from over traveling and snagging. You will notice that the unit features a solid base so there's no pre-drilled holes. That means that it's very versatile when it comes to the installation you can drill some holes in there and you can screw this down. You can rivet it or you can weld it when it comes to the installation. The unit's made from a stainless steel construction.
It's very strong and durable and it's gonna do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. The pen diameter is a quarter of an inch. The extension, that's how far the pen extend from the body. It's gonna give us a half inch extension. The length of the body .. that's gonna measure about two and three quarters of an inch.
The width . that's gonna measure about an inch and a quarter. And the overall length of the unit . measuring edge to edge .. that's gonna give us a measurement of about three and three quarters of an inch.

etrailer always has a great product and customer service. We used this latch for a prototype and while it wasn't the right fit we found another use for it on another build we have going on and it works great. Great spring pressure and very little play.
They work great! A little over kill for what they are used for but they look good ad will last for years. Thanks
