Pre-Galvanized Steel
Pre-galvanized steel parts are stamped from a sheet of steel after it has already been galvanized. The edges of the pre-galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of the thinness of the coating (less than 1 mil) and the fact that the edges remain exposed, pre-galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so it's recommended that they be primed and painted.

When we moved across country in 2009, our utility trailer, Magnus, followed us topped to the gills with boxes and our worldly good. These were the leftovers that didn't fit in the moving crates. After living in Oregon for 5 years and using the trailer to move many things, I was told that I needed fenders to make it legal. I found these CE Smith fenders that fit and ordered them. They arrived promptly. Primed and then painted a sleek black, my son and I, using the brackets ordered with the fenders, then attached them without any fuss. They fit just as expected and we are now legal to haul away in Oregon.

Great replacement for my old, trashed fenders. I marked and rilled holes for brackets one at a time to ensure a good fit.

you didnt have the size i needed so i ordered a size smaller. with some metal spacers, the fenders bolted right on. they are of good quality and look good. much cheaper than going to a dealer. shipping was very fast

Ordered these as replacements for a trailer that is 40 years old. They were exact fit replacement except they were heavier gauge steel than the original ones and galvanized to boot. Good job etrailer!
The package arrived in a timely manner, all contents in good shape. I have mounted the fenders, using the brackets that I purchased. The brackets are heavier than I expected, so that was a bonus. My trailer is homemade, so I made adaptations, easily enough. The fenders are mounted and trailer had its maiden voyage todaqy.

Just as expected. No complaints.
Fenders, wheels, and wiring harness were as advertised and worked perfectly on my trailer.
I really like the way the fenders were a great fit to my trailer. no problem getting them welded in place. My trailer only had one rusted fender and was missing the other one when I got it.
It is galvanized which I required. It installed fairly easily, I had to drill holes in the side of the fender. I used it on my teardrop trailer and it has done a outstanding job!
Works very well. High quality product. Exact replacement for existing boat trailer fender. Would recommend to anyone
fenders are excellent , mounting brackets were of good quality but unusable in my application

Great replacement. Service area is Massachusetts in salt water and no corrosion evidence after 1 year. Heavy duty enough to stand on when necessary.
Fender came in no damage, box was packed very well for shipping. No dings, dents twists etc. Shipped on time as they stated.
Nice heavy duty fender. I would buy another in a heart beat. I would also use Etrailer.com again with out any hesitation.
