The B&W Tow & Stow adjustable ball mount lets you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights. Having a 1-7/8" ball, a 2" ball and a 2-5/16" ball allows for even more versatility, making this the ultimate go-to ball mount if you own multiple trailers.
To switch the hitch ball, simply remove the pin holding the balls in place and rotate the entire block that the balls are mounted on until the ball you want to use is on top. Then replace the pin to secure the block in place.
Adjusting the height of the ball is just as easy. Remove the pins holding the ball mount platform in place and slide the platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Once you have found the correct height, reinsert the pins and replace the clips.
When you're not towing, you can flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang your shins. Just remove the pins to slide the ball platform down along the channel and up the back side so that the hitch balls face towards your vehicle. Then replace the pins.
The Tow & Stow ball mount features a channel that runs along both sides of the shank. This channel not only allows you to slide the ball mount platform up and down to adjust the ball height, but it also prevents removal of the platform when the ball mount is installed, which will help prevent theft of your trailer.
A slot is cut into the adjustment channel near the top of the shank. To remove the ball mount platform from the shank you will need to remove the entire ball mount from your hitch. Then remove the pins that hold the platform in place. Flip the platform around to the stowed position on the rear of the shank, and then slide it up until the center pin lines up with the slot in the shank. Pull the platform out towards the rear of the shank until the pin pops out of the adjustment channel.
When the Tow & Stow is secured in your hitch receiver, you will not be able to remove the ball mount platform. This is because the slot in the shank is positioned in such a way that the collar on your hitch will block the pin on the platform from being able to leave the channel. Even if the pins holding the ball mount platform in place are removed, the platform will still be confined to this channel. So, as long as a hitch lock is used to secure the entire ball mount in your hitch receiver, and a coupler lock is used to prevent your trailer's coupler from being disengaged from the ball, your trailer will be secure.

This hitch does everything that I need. Very fast order and delivery too.
Still works as expected after a year. I love that I can easily switch between sizes or stow it under the hitch out of the way. I've towed 12k+ lbs with it without issue.
Super beefy and very well made. Packed well too. Some careful thought and enginnering went into this piece and you can tell. Im old enough to remember being able to buy high quality, locally made stuff for a reasonable price. Seems like those days are mostly gone. It was fun to inbox this hitch and appreciative the solid craftsmanship. Doesn’t happen too much anymore.
Great product. Extremely well built and looks great. Very easy to put into stow mode and move it back to the positions you want to tow from. The rated capacity of it is great it’ll do everything your truck will do in a bumper pull mode. It is a must for a 19 F-250 with the ride height to get your load level and to make the connection a easier process.

It’s a great hitch. From height adjustment to having 3 different sized balls that you can tuck and stow out of the way when not in use. Great product with towable weight capacity stamped on it so you now what it can safely tow.

I recently purchased a new Ford F350 and it comes with the 2.5" receiver hitch. The B&W tow and stow fit the bill. I like the rise and drop feature as I pull a few different trailers. I was also impressed with quality and workmanship of the hitch, plus the ability to stow the ball out of the way, gives the truck a clean look.
Craftsmanship is topnotch, but what else would you expect from B&W. This in on my F350 and I am so happy to have all the necessary hitches available for work around the farm without having to have a all the extra ball and mounts in the truck.

This hitch is one of the best I have ever bought or seen. I would recommend this to all. It works real easy and looks awesome. You really need to stop shopping around and buy this one. I stake my truck on it.
This is the best receiver hitch I've ever owned. It's so convenient to have all the different size balls needed in one place and to be able to store them all away without taking up any space in the truck and without using any tools. It's also extremely tough. Although it's not recommended, I've used it to pull vehicles out of a ditch and I've yanked several bushes and small trees up by the roots with no damage at all to the hitch. I expect this hitch will outlast me.

Im on my 3rd one now. I originally bought a 2 for my Ram 1500, then sold it and bought the 2.5 for my Ram 3500. Now Im back to a 1500, so I sold the 2.5 and Im back to 2. Im keeping this, no matter what. There are some other cool features on other hitches, but this is by far my favorite, and its never let me down.

Unfortunately for them the internet has allowed an educated consumer the ability to shop outside the box.

Here is what I know,When I install the hitch in the receiver there is a calming sensation as I back to either the boat or car trailer.I purchased the 14,500 hitch so as not to need the coupler GMC provided me with.I would suggest to anyone I know to purchase a similar product from you!
Got it today just as promised it never made it in the house I met the UPS man in the driveway and stuck it on the truck immediately. Fast shipping great product and it looks good too, should serve the purpose well. The tri-ball keeps me from having to have multiple hitches and the adjustable height should work for everything I pull not to mention the anti-theft part is awesome. I looked at several hitches before I decided on this one and I know I selected the right one and I recommend that anyone looking for an adjustable hitch take your time do your homework know every purpose it will be used for and think about selecting a little more than you currently need just in case that need changes. E-Trailer is a great place to do the research and buy from. I probably had 8-10 different 2inch hitch combinations with different size balls and different height configurations then when I purchased a new vehicle that required a 2-1/2" hitch set up I said I'm going to buy one hitch that can accommodate all my needs that is why I went with this model.

Fantastic hitch, why I didnt have it before is unknown but I will never be without it from here on. I have shown it and recommended it to many people that I know. Seriously I have been towing for over 40 years and have drove everything from a 2 seater sports car to a tractor trailer and this is a great way to approach towing bumper pull style trailers of all sizes.
Very nice hitch. I like the quality BUT I have one dislike and that is you spend this kind of money for a nice hitch and it doesn't come with a keeper pin to connect to the truck. For the cost of the hitch it should come with a locking pin. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.

1 year follow up - It lives on the truck. Mostly in the “stowed” configuration. It still looks good and is perfectly serviceable.
