Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Ox Adjustable 2-Ball Mount. This ball mount is going to allow you to hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. This will slide right into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle. They do include standard hitch pin and clip, so that you can make sure that this isn't gonna wiggle its way out. It's just your standard 5/8 inch diameter pin holes there, so if you wanted to use a lock, blocking pin, or something like that, we do have those available here at etrailer.com, you just need that standard 5/8 inch diameter.

This is going to provide two different size hitch balls, so that you can get connected to trailer couplers with different size trailer couplers, so you've got a two inch ball and 2 5/16 inch ball, very simple to switch between them, you just pull out the pins here, remove those clips, slide those pins out, so if you're switching from one trailer to the other, you can just simply flip that around, get it lined up where you want it, pass those pins back through, and you'll be ready to go. I'm gonna leave these clips off just for a moment, so I can show you another feature here in a moment, but this is going to give us a gross towing weight, if we're using our two inch ball, we're gonna have a gross towing weight of 10,000 pounds, if we're using our 2 5/16 inch ball, we're gonna have a gross towing weight of 14,000 pounds, both are going to have the same max tongue weight, which is 1,400 pounds. This is going to also have that adjustable height feature, so you can tow trailers with different ride heights, different coupler heights. So again, just remove those pins, and you can slide this up and down the shank here or up and down the channel, so that you can get that correct coupler height. Now, obviously, I can't get this any lower than it is right now, get it down to those lowest settings, but if I we're to have that at the lowest setting, we measure from the top of our shank here, which is about the top of the inside edge of your receiver tube down to the ball platform, which is about where your coupler is gonna sit, so if we have this in the drop position like we have it here, our max drop is gonna be about 10 inches, so if your coupler sits 10 inches lower than the top inside edge of your receiver tube, this will allow you to accommodate that.

And then we could also flip this over, use it in the rise position, and then we would have a max rise of 10 inches, so if your coupler sits 10 inches higher than the top inside edge of your receiver tube, this will accommodate that, and then of course, all the incremental changes in between. Very simple to get this installed again, just slide those pins through. While I have those off, I do wanna show you that this does have this anti-rattle design, so it's got this rubber stopper on the backside here, so that's going to help reduce rattling, and therefore, our towing noise, so it's gonna be much quieter for us as we're going down the road. This does have a nice heavy-duty steel construction, so it is gonna hold up really well for you. The ball mount does have a black powder coat finish, and then the ball set here is going to have a zinc coating, so it's gonna resist corrosion for both of those and hold up well for us for a long time to come.

But overall, I think this is gonna give you a lot of options as to the trailer heights that you can tow and that coupler size, so if you are gonna be switching trailers frequently, this is gonna be a great way to go.
