Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this CURT AlumaLite aluminum adjustable two ball mount for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. This adjustable ball mount is going to slide into your two inch hitch receiver on your vehicle, and give you a maximum towing capacity of 12,500 pounds, and this is going to give you a maximum drop of 3 1/2 inches. Now, the adjustable height is going to let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. You're just going to slide this ball platform up or down along this shank, and secure it in place with the included pin and clip, and the clip is vibration-resistant, and let me give you a brief demonstration of that. So, I'm gonna go ahead and remove the clip here first.

So, I got that clip removed, and then remove the pin, just like that. And so as you can see, this is going to easily slide up and down the shank with no problems whatsoever. So again, this is going to give you a maximum drop of 3 1/2 inches, so that's going to be the 3 1/2 inch drop there, the maximum drop, and this adjusts in one inch increments. And then when you want to, I have this set on the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, when you want to change to the two inch ball, it's gonna be as simple as this, just like that. Then let me see if I can remove or replace rather my pin and then a clip.

Just pop that into place. And, I mentioned that these balls here are obviously the two different size. You got the two inch, you got the 2 5/16 inches, inch ball rather. And with the 2 5/16 inch ball you can tow up to 12,500 pounds, with the two inch ball up to 8,000 pounds. The tongue weight on the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball is gonna be 1,250 pounds.

And with the two inch ball it's going to be 800 pounds. These balls are polished steel and so they're gonna be not only good looking but also hold up really well for you. And again, very easy to adjust the drop and change which ball you want to use. This mount itself is constructed of lightweight billet aluminum. So this is very durable.

It's amazing how lightweight it is. It looks like it would be a lot heavier, but I really like the design of it. I really like the build of it. Lightweight, durable, corrosion resistant. It's gonna be very easy to use. And let me give you some other measurements that I took before our time together that might be helpful for you. So measuring from the center of our hitch ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole, it's gonna be about 7 7/8 inches. And then from the center of the hitch, the center of the hitch ball to the center of the second hitch pin hole is about 9 1/8 inches. And then from the center of that second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 5/8 inches. I do like the fact that the end of the shank is angled or tapered, so that's gonna make it all the more easier to slide that into your trailer hitch receiver. This does include the pin and clip for the shank and obviously the pin and clip for our ball mount here. However, this is really an investment that you're making. We do have an option where you can get a locking pin for the shank and a locking pin for the ball platform and that will protect this investment. You won't have to worry about somebody coming by behind your vehicle when it's unattended and trying to yank this off without you being there. The hitch pin hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch.
