I found Etrailer.com and followed the instructions on determining the drop of the hitch, the instructions were spot on. I hooked up my trailer to my Yukon today, all was level and worked perfectly. I had driven around to Napa, Lowe’s, Home Depot and Walmart, and nobody had the 9” drop hitch I needed. Came back to Etrailer, bought the 2” ball and pin, and the Curt 9” drop hitch. The quality of this product is fantastic and it assembled with no problems and makes my rv / toad I pull a perfect match. I will continue to do business with (etrailer.com) much more in the future. The following photos are of my 1988 Fleetwood Jamboree and my baby (rare 1982 Toyota Corolla Station Wagon) all connected up and the 9" drop towing bar makes my Toyota towing very easy and safe at a level condition with my RV. Also look at the new LED lights installed to dress up my older RV, also purchased from Etrailer.com. I am a happy camper and highly recommend purchasing from them.
I have purchased numerous items from Etrailer for several years and I have never had a negative issue. Quality products with quick delivery. I do not focus on shopping around for the lowest cost because I am a quality person. I will continue to purchase any and all trailer towing related parts from Etrailer.com.
Biggest issue is that NO ONE warns a potential purchaser of FIT! Tolerances matter. First time I used this ball mount I couldn't believe rattling. I have a 5x8 enclosed trailer and was pulling with my Explorer. Had to deliver a piece of furniture 17miles away for repair. I last 3miles was down a gravel road and OH my God, I slowed to a crawl, but still thought I was going to destroy my factory installed receiver. Called Curt and they had me get calipers to measure the receiver opening to the thousandths of an inch! And yes, there was too much difference between receiver and ball mount shaft! If I would have been apprised of this issue I'd certainly done some pre-purchase measuring. You can buy ball mounts at any auto store, or Walmart even and there is NO warning of this issue!!! Curt sent an anti-rattle fitting to me. Yes, they know about this issue. It helps some but is not perfect. It helps to minimize horizontal movement but not so much on vertical. But better than before. Ironically, the ball mount pins I bought from e-trailer and reviewed above can't be used with the anti-rattle fitting! So, there was some money [thrown] away. Lastly, I've had ball mounts before for other vehicles and NEVER had a rattling problem. Probably because I had everything installed at a trailer retailer. And none of the ball mounts I had were extremely heavy. This Curt ball mount is very very heavy. I did need a greater drop for my Explorer and existing trailer, and maybe over shot by one inch. But this thing could be used a great weapon.
With my 2015 Yukon Denali I needed a 9 inch drop trailer hitch ball mount for my utility trailer. The one I found on etrailer.com (C45112) is great. Heavy duty, great finish - still like new after a year of use.

Was having a hard time finding the correct drop for my motor home, Etrailer had it in stock and shipped it out the same day I ordered it!

Due to COVID travel restrictions and health issues we have not been able to actually use the ball mount. It was a perfect fit for our motorhome to auto trailer and the trailer was level with this extended hitch. Some day we will actually use it...
The 10" (9 3/4) drop is the right fit for my 2021 Ford Ranger and 6" X 12" Gator Made Trailer. Trailer is now level. Thanks

recently raised dodge ram 1500 laramie shortbed for heavy 4x4 and , since it was set-up by mopar as a trailer puller model, got trailer ready for trips. it sets high needed a dropped hitch mount for lower trailer - ehitch had that perfect mount. im satisfied, great niece travel companion is estatic. cant get any better

I bought this hitch because I needed to lift my trailer 8" to make my pontoon trailer level. The hitch did just that and my trailer sits level when hooked to my truck. I have not yet put my boat on the trailer to pull it but expect all to go smoothly.
Arrived on time. The mount had slight wear. Mainly some scuffing but nothing to change my mind in the purchase I expect it'll receive more in the years to come.
