I've mounted the Curt 1 1/4" hitch to my 2007 Mazdaspeed3.
Taking the rear bumper off, which only took 30 minutes (maybe a few minutes more than that) made it very easy to attach the Curt hitch to the car.
I wanted to compliment the Mazdaspeed3's overall appearance, so, I decided to go with the Curt euro ball mount 11 3/4" .
Very pleased with the outcome.
This worked out to be the perfect ball and mount for my purpose- occasionally having to use my car to tow my utility trailer. I got this and the DrawTite receiver hitch for my '99 Monte Carlo and everything went together in less time than the estimated time that had been shown. Very happy with both purchases!

Very well! Trailer is just the right height and towing is very easy.
Love this item. Installed on a 2016 Hyundai Sonata, vehicle sits low so the rise on this was perfect. Installed with the Curt wiring harness #C56247 and the Drawtite Sportframe receiver #24940. Works excellent together.
The order was received, and it's perfect. I especially like the euro style hitch, fits right in with my VW and our custom trailer, that we tow about to car shows!

How did you mount those fog lights on the front . I have a 2004 Jetta wagon and have been trying to figure this out for years. Do you have pics? Love what you did to your car!

All working fine. Tow bar paint was quite thin. So has rusted a fair amount already. Will wait for warmer weather before I go under the bumper to sand and repaint hitch.

Products I ordered and received are fantastic. I have long been looking for a domestic source for the Euro Ball Mounts (swans neck towbar). I was esctatic that Curt is now offering a nice domestic version based on the 1-1/4" square receiver. I am making custom hitches for my two antique german vehicles, and these were just the ticket!
I do have a criticism for the shipping department. The items are naturally very heavy, and were not packaged appropriately, so the carton was ruptured when I received it - luckily no parts were lost or damaged.
The product fits very well in the reciever setup that I also purchased from eTrailer for my 2013 Chevy Cruze. I mainly pull a small 5'x8' trailer with my dirtbike and the additional space between the ball and my back bumper is perfect. I have zero complaints and have been very pleased with the overall setup.

1 year and I’m more than happy with this product! I pulled over 12000 miles this year alone! Can’t be more satisfied!
Overall I was a little concerned because I had read that shipping was fast but my hitch arrived slower than expected which caused a delay in my plans by weeks. Than when the hitch arrived it had no hinge pin. A little disappointed. I do not take pleasure in writing poor reviews
Received order #xxxxxxxxx Mon. June 6. Empty box , just packing paper and plastic bag. Hole approx. 1 1/2" cut in one corner. Not getting anywhere via telephone.

This item works great with my Curt hitch on my 2012 Hyundai Elantra. It keeps my trailer at the perfect height. No more dragging the trailer jack on the pavement.
Bought this for my son's Polaris RZR. It works great.
The setback and rise is perfect to keep his utility trailer from hitting the tires on sharp turns.
Great hitch, application used is a Toyota Prius C pulling small trailer. Levels trailer out nicely. As always e trailer ships fast.
*Australian Accent* Haven't given a tow with er yet but this stinga looks right proper on the back of the Elantra. Gives a real mean look that keeps the bogans away!
Solid drawbar that's incorporates a 2" Ball for towing. The rise is perfect for my application on a Kendon Motorycle trailer using my 2013 VW GTI.
Clean, simple, and strong. The conventional welded assembly is heavy and outdated. This hitch ball performs as well, is just as strong, and has less unused steel hanging off the sides.
I love the aesthetic of these euro hitches.
I do "light" loads with the heavier trailer weighing 1200lbs and tongue of ~200lbs
