Built-in bracket lets you mount a sway control ball for simple installation of a friction sway control system.I cannot use this ball mount because the shaft is too short that goes into hitch receiver on my one ton Dodge truck. It does not allow enough room between truck back bumper and ball to allow any trailer tongue to be put on ball.
The ball mount was a complete failure even after a lengthy discussion on the phone. I wanted a ball mount that would accept the rocker ball and anti-sway bar. The bar sent to me can't be used this way. An email and phone message to the sales person I ordered with, got no response.

Purchased this hitch as a companion for our Reese anti sway control. The small ball for the Reese sway control fits in the bracket and the 2” drop on the hitch is exactly what we needed to have our Jayco camper level when towing.

Continues to work perfect in conjunction with my Reese friction sway control
Works great so far, I had some difficulty mounting the ball plate on trailer frame. Make sure to mark holes with a punch and use a new drill bit.
Very prompt service and delivery. Ready to get this on the truck and start pulling the new camper!
My wife is a member of "Sisters On The Fly" with four vintage trailers, so I have been a frequent customer of etrailer. I have never failed to get excellent customer service and top of the line products.
Was exactly what I needed, for a great price, with clear installation instructions.
Works well. Much better than the previous two piece unit. No play between the two parts, so no clunking.
I ordered and received the ball mount and sway bar together. They were received very promptly and in excellent shape. They are very heavy, i.e., heavy duty. The bracket that was fitted to the trailer was about half a screw wider than optimal size for my smallish trailer but did fit. Installation was easy. The self-tapping screws functioned well. All-in-all, a 10 out of 10 experience.

Great. No problems after a year.
Have not yet used it as I just got to install the hitch today.
We have looked for this tow hitch with sway bar ball, then we saw yours. It fit perfect. Will work great with towing our 13 foot camping trailer. I am a happy customer , And for your quick service, that was great. Thank you.

It was delivered quickly. The price was excellent. I've owned this product before and it was stolen off my truck. I use it to pull a ultra lite 21foot trailer. The hitch and stabilizer bar work well together. I really like this product.

It worked okay, but ultimately I had to go another direction.
The Curt ball mount with sway control bracket appears to be a great quality product. It will not be used until May of 2015 when we pick up our new travel trailer. I am sure it will get the job done.
Meriah also found this ball mount (with sway control plate) that is also rated at 7500lbs to match my class 5 hitch rating - this ball mount simplified attaching sway control from trailer frame
installing parts together very easy.
Worked wonders with the small toyhaler camper I have went into the mountains and even had a blowout on the haler with the sway control tab held up great
This hitch has worked great for the Curt friction sway control for my pop-up camper. I tow with a Honda Ridgeline and this fits perfect and works as it should. I would recommend this to others.
Used this hitch connected to pop-up trailer with single anti-sway bar. Works great, no trailer sway in high winds or 75 mph.
I haven't actually put this product to use, yet, but it seems to be very well made with clean strong welds. Nice and heavy, and arrived looking like it was just made. And it's made in the USA!!! No Chinese steel. This will work perfectly with my sway control bar and hitch.
Great product. Use this with sway bar rather than heavy hitch with load leveler attachments. I don't need levelers with my ultra lite camper. Super quick to ship!!
