Perfect fit for my new Volkswagen ID.4 1st Edition

All equipment was delivered on time. Hitch, wiring harness, receiver and ball. Watched video's on installation of harness and hitch. Went down to my garage and installed both with the help of my girlfriend. Very satisfied with the products and the installation. etrailer supplied the goods and the knowledge. I am very happy that I went this route.

Worked good, used it for my ATV fit perfectly to flip over and raise trailers to proper height. Does exactly what I need it to.

- C45017

Received hitch receiver and accessories in perfect condition. Installation was very easy. (Especially if you have a lift). I fit this on my 2014 camry SE. Everything fit perfectly. The installation video helped a great deal with measurements. Shipping was fast. I searched around for the best price and etrailer.com had the lowest overall price. Big thanks.

Works great for atv and big utv side by sides has just enough height if you turn it around it wont catch going up and down steep hills .. instead of a hith ball "d" ring comes in handy for pulling towing

- C45017

The hitch was just what I wanted. Upside down, it clears bumper and puts the trailer height at level position. Shipping was fast. Thanks.

This is the first drawbar I ever bought. It is solid metal and has a rated capacity much greater than I intend to use it for. It's a Curt product but fits well in my DrawTite receiver.

Delivered quicker than expected. All the dimensions were given on your website, this made it easy for me to chose the right drawbar for my SUV hitch.

a bit short, close to bumper.

Comments
Curt does offer some longer ballmounts that have an identical rise/ and capacity. The ballmount you purchased as a 6-1/4 inch length, measured from the hitch pin hole laterally to where the ball would attach. They offer one thats an inch longer, at 7-1/4 inches as part # C45521
Curt Class II Drawbar - 2-5/8" Rise, 3-1/4" Drop - 7-1/4" Long - 3,500 lbs
$47.19
or one thats 9-3/8 inches long as part # C45016
Curt Class II Drawbar - 2-5/8" Rise, 3-1/4" Drop - 9-3/8" Long - 3,500 lbs
$47.80
. Either of these would provide more clearance to the vehicle bumper.

  • Recommended Hitch Ball For Curt Class ll Drawbar For 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon
The 2 inch Diameter Tow Ready Hitch Ball with Short Shank, part # 19258, would work well with the Curt Class II Drawbar, part # C45017. For a 1-7/8 inch diameter hitch ball I recommend part # 19256. The C45017 will fit hitch receivers with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening, and measures 6-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the hitch ball hole. This draw bar is Class l or Class ll compatible. If you need a hitch pin and clip I recommend part # F-4. I have attached...

  • How to Pick Out Ball Mount for 2015 Chevy Impala to Allow Trailer to be Towed Level
Sounds like you are in need of a ball mount that offers more rise than the part # C45017 that you are using on your 2015 Chevy Impala. In order to get the correct ball mount you are going to need to take two measurements. The distance from the top of your hitch opening to the ground and the distance from the bottom of the coupler lip on the trailer to the ground when it is sitting level. The difference between these two measurements is the rise/drop you need. I attached a help article...

  • Can Curt C11368 Class I Hitch Be Removed From 2017 Kia Forte and Installed on 2020 Model
The 2017 Kia Forte was the second to last model year of the 2nd generation Forte, while the 2020 is the second model year of the 3rd gen. There were enough changes in the structure of the vehicle from the 2nd to the 3rd gen that unfortunately your Curt # C11368 from your 2017 Forte will not work on your 2020 model.
