This Fastway Solid Tow adjustable ball mount provides solid, rattle-free towing performance. A stainless steel pin, operated by the included hex tool, extends out from the shank and tightens the ball mount in your receiver.
To further eliminate any movement, a bolt in the side of the ball platform tightens the connection between the platform and the adjustment shank. As a result, you'll enjoy a quiet, rattle-free towing experience.
The ball platform is connected to the adjustment shank by the hex bolt located in the front of the platform. To change the ball height, simply loosen both the bolt in the front and the bolt in the side of the platform with the included tool. This will release the ball platform and allow you to slide it up and down. Or, you can slide the platform off and reverse it to change the ball size.

First of all, it’s beautiful; fit and finish is as it should be for the price. No rust stainless hitch ball ends are great. I use this on a Chevy Silverado 1500 with the max tow package pulling a 24’ 5800 lb. boat on an aluminum trailer. It pretty much is one position so I can’t say how quick and easy it is to routinely change from one ball size to the other or hitch height, but I can tell you that it all works flawlessly. The only downside is that it’s heavy so storing it in a foldaway tool box in my truck bed is fine but it’s a load. In use it never rattles or shakes and it’s because of the clamping lock. But that can only be used in dropped position, which is how I use it. If you need a great multi ball unit that looks and works really well, this one is for you.

Sierra K - 12/07/2021The materials and machining are very nice, making it beautiful and precise. I like the craftmenship and detailed notches on the vertical bar. Already use both 2 and 2-5/16 balls so it was easy to chose this item for my needs. The only thing that I would change is having access to individual and separate ball installation to that the upsidedown ball doesn't scrape the ground if you choose to run it at the lowest setting.
I need several inches of adjustability for two trailers. This can handle the 5" rise needed for my kayak trailer and the level tongue of my 20 foot sailboat trailer. The security and anti rattle features are a great design.
The polished aluminum mount and stainless hitch balls look like an appearance accessory.
John M - 06/09/2018Ashley provided me with great customer service and took care of my order promptly and professionally. I’m very happy with my purchase which arrived ahead of schedule.
Out of the box showed the quality of work to be incredible. Once I installed the hitch I was disappointed to see that the installed anti-rattle device does not make 100% contact (more like 50%) in the receiver as intended with the locking pin installed. No matter how much the locking screw was tightened any weight or jolt on the hitch would cause it to rattle. The vehicle this was installed on was a 2011 Tundra CrewMax 4x4.
I understand this is a universal hitch for many vehicles but it appears the locking pin hole could be moved forward approx. 1/2 to 3/4" to correct this problem.
If you are buying this product due to it's corrosion resistance it has my vote, but if the installed anti-rattle pin feature is critical look for a different brand on 2011 Tundra's.
This thing is amazing. Adjustability is perfect. Has held up well to very heavy loads. No trailer rattle. Happy to have purchased a lifetime worthy hitch. 10/10 would recommend!
I tow boats, mostly antique and classic wood boats, but just plain lots of boats. My Ram diesel stands tall. Every trailer stands differently. Finally I have a ball mount that is adjustable so virtually every trailer I hook onto rolls flat. Adjusting up and down is trivially easy.
The tensioning mechanism is bullet proof. Itowed a 7,000 pound boat and trailer back from western Kentucky and up 83 through PA. The ball mount stayed where I put it and did not loosen up one iota.
And the solid two receiver tensioner is to die for. For the first time I can listen to my music instead of a "sympnony" of rattles as the ball mount bounces in the receiver each time the smallest bump in the road is encountered.
Finally, it is way cool looking. Never before have I had people stop, walk over and say, "Whoa! I've never seen a hitch as cool as that one."
Product quality is excellent. It is very convenient allowing me the versatility of five or six receivers in one. Provides me with all of my towing needs.

This is my second one I've ordered from eTrailer (10"drop & this 6"). Absolutely great product! This time around, I went with stainless steel balls... They should look beret, longer. Only reason for a second is because of a new truck. The old truck had a 9" lift and 37" tires.
Product looks great. The built-in anti rattle device on mine appears to work good. I am happy with the ball hitch and the way Etrailer handle my sale and quick delivery.

I purchased this hitch to pull my pontoon and utility trailer and needed it to be adjustable for the different trailer heights. I also wanted a hitch that had a feature to remove the play in the hitch which helped reduce sway in the trailers. It also eliminates clunking when stopping and accelerating. It is a very nice, well made heavy duty hitch and is easy to adjust with the notches on the hitch to let you know where you are at.

Needing at least an 8" drop I ordered the 10" drop to be sure I had enough leeway for adjustment in case my vehicle was heavily loaded with gear. The anti-rattle feature is what really made me choose this hitch. I'll be towing a boat 7,000 miles this summer and did not want to hear any squeaks and eliminate anything that could contribute to trailer swaying. In order to be sure the anti-rattle pin would make contact with my receiver I inquired with both the manufacturer and etrailer. Fastway customer rep said the distance was 3-1/2" and Etrailer said it was 2". Needless to say when it arrived it measured 2" which is perfect for my 2016 Suburban. You may want to double check with etrailer on the 2" measurement before ordering in case the manufacturer has modified the design.
While the anti-rattle pin does eliminate up and down motion a little left to right movement remains. I may fabricate a narrow shim to eliminate all movement but at this time I do not think it will be necessary.
Since I am using this on what is almost the lowest height setting with the 2" ball the 2-5/8" ball is just 10 1/4" above the ground. The hitch balls are not removable from the sliding mount therefore you either have to be careful not to bottom out or for more clearance Fastway said I could cut the 2-5/8" ball off the mount. This would make the ground clearance 12-1/4" off the ground.
As others have stated it is a beautiful piece of hardware and looks really sharp. I will likely leave on on permanently with a BOLT trailer hitch receiver lock. (Be sure to order the correct one!). Leaving it permanently mounted has one benefit- I think drivers from behind will be more wary of stopping too close and rear ending you and if they do rear end you at a slow speed it will absorb a bit of the impact thereby minimizing damage to your vehicle. This is a solid well built aluminum ball mount but, on a 2015 dodge 2500 class 5 receiver the anti-rattle pin on the ball mount only catches 1/4 of the round pin in the receiver tube. The hole for the locking pin is close to the end of the tube of the receiver on the truck, so the ball mount sticks out in the receiver tube (in my opinion) too much for this to work as it was intended. Etrailer said it should work in there opinion but when you spend over 200 dollars for a ball mount it should work as intended and not "it SHOULD be fine?" Will be contacting Diversi-tech as well. etrailer is great a place to order from and quick shipment as well!

Excellent product. I installed on my 2014 Ram 1500 and the anti rattle pin was completely inside the receiver unlike what some of the other reviews show. There is absolutely no rattling. I believe the part number is diversitech, but this is in fact a fastway flash ballmount. As always, quick shipping from etrailer and the best price I've seen anywhere.

Great looking adjustable hitch. I purchased the non-locking version because locks and similar mechanisms seem to have issues due to salt and ice here in MN. Not sure if the locking version would have issues, but I didn't want to take the chance. Hitch is easy to adjust, seems very strong, and looks great.

I initially loved the hitch because it was tight in receiver and unlikely to be stolen. Over time it has become harder to keep the anti rattle screw and pin tight, I tighten it just about everyday now. There are also rough spots that have developed in all the screws, I suppose from the set screw tightening against the threads. The hitch is a good value for the money, as it does its job of being an adjustable hitch.
