This unique mount from Gen-Y Hitch includes a ball mount that can be easily positioned in one of the 3 stacked receivers that sits along the vertical shank of the unit. This dual-ball mount lets you tow a trailer with a 2" ball coupler or a 2-5/16" ball coupler.
Also included is a pintle lock, which can be inserted into the receiver directly above the ball mount to create a pintle hitch for hooking up a trailer with a lunette ring. Unlike other adjustable pintle hooks on the market, there are no nuts and bolts to remove and retorque when you change the positioning of this hitch. Just move the ball mount and pintle lock up or down to get the proper height and secure them in place with the included pins.

Tongue weight is 3,500 lbs.Great product. Always the best. This is the 3rd one we have purchased for our heavy trucks. My hitch came all scratched and banged up from poor shipping. Not a positive for a $xxx hitch. Will be looking for a different distributer than etrailer in the future for these products. Great product, 5/5, however etrailer did no favors on this product.

This is a very stout item. I can't imagine anything would ever go wrong with it. Unless you don't lock it.
well built and easy to change heights for different trailers. eliminated a lot of play from reducing down to use 2" hitches in the 3" receiver

Great product. Very stout, but also very heavy. Only complaint is the weight, particularly because I am not a full time trailer “tower” so I install/remove frequently. Definitely peace of mind in terms of not having to worry about ball mount issues with 2500#+ tongue weight.

The hitch is great except for one problem. The ramp in front of the 2 5/16 ball that is for a pintle hitch is cracking at the weld.

This hitch has been used with both balls in every height position. Hitch is durable and high quality. It has not been off my truck since I purchased it and is used frequently to tow 10-20K trailers.

Been towing with this hitch for a year now. It’s the best hitch I’ve ever owned. The longest I’ve ever kept the same hitch. Easy to switch heights, strength, it’s bulletproof. I’ve dropped a loaded dump trailer onto the ball after not getting it lined up correctly. The weight would have bent any other hitch. This Gen-Y laughed at it.

This review is for the install only, as i have not towed with the hitch yet...
Well, getting the hitch into the receiver was a major pain in the rear. So much powder coating made it very difficult to insert. I hade to use a 5000lbs tie down ratchet, and it took about 45 minutes to complete the task. Not happy with that portion at all.
