Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - simply flip over the platform, hitch-up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
Adjusting and setting up the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount to work with your specific trailer is easy. To switch hitch balls, unlock and pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Next, flip the platform 180 degrees so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Then replace the platform and slide it along the shank to the desired height. Insert the dual pins and use one of the included keys to lock the pins in place. A dual-sided hitch ball with a 1-7/8" and a 2" hitch ball (TB03 - sold separately) is also available.
The 180 Hitch 2-ball mount can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

The 180 Hitch meets VESC V-5 regulations and is SAE J684 certified. These regulatory bodies - the Vehicle Equipment Safety Commission and the Society for Automotive Engineers - create standards for the design, construction, and performance of automotive and towing accessories. Ball platform locks to shank.My first time towing an RV trailer. I had done my homework on hitch ball mounts & balls, so I was aware of the rise that I needed. As a newbie, I was a bit overwhelmed with the selections eTrailer offered, so I called customer service and wow - Korren was amazing: knowledgable, answered my questions and provided a couple of suggestions. I decided on this 180 hitch because it met my specs and provided a lot of flexibility. Used it for the first time yesterday and worked perfectly -- easy to set up at attach my Lance 1995 to my Chevy Silverado 1500. The only thing that might improve the product is to etch each inch of drop / rise onto the shank for easier adjustment of the ball mount. Thank you Korren!
The Receiver is a bit heavy, but other than that its everything I was looking for. I had multiple receivers for 2 vehicles. A ford expedition and a Toyota Venza. The venza needs lift and the expedition needs drops. This one hitch does it all for me. 200 was a lot but it is the last hitch I will ever buy. The aluminum receiver will hold up better than the powder coated ones I had and will not freeze to the hitch. Stainless steel ball will never rust. The instructions say to not leave it in when not towing is good advice because you forget about the other ball.
Pricey but you get what you pay for.
Charles - 10/09/2019The product is well made and being aluminum is not nearly as heavy as steel ones. The 8" maximum drop is accurate, which is not the case with some fixed drop drawbars I have purchased from other sellers. Delivery was faster than anticipated and arrived undamaged. I have placed several orders with etrailer.com and have been more than satisfied with their service, followup and prices. I'm using this on a 2017 Chev Suburban Premier. The trailer hitch is so high that I need an 8" drop to pull my Ski Nautique and 18' car hauler. Having both 2" and 2 5/16" balls is very convenient and turning the piece over that has the balls on it is very easy. It locks onto the upper part of the drawbar.
I just received my 180 hitch with 10 inch drop and locking dual pin assembly and hitch pin set. Delivery was incredibly fast ( 2 days). Packaged well. It is a very sturdy hitch and fits well in my receiver without wiggle. It would have been nice if a bolt was supplied to remove the hitch ball pin to change the balls. It would also be nice to have the option to get the locking dual pin assembly OR the standard non-locking one so you don't have two when you only want a locking assembly. Overall a great product.
Have had B&W receiver (BWHDRH25122) with Weigh-Safe 180 hitch on my 69 Ford F-100 for about a year. Used numerous times. No trouble at all. I did use grade 8 nuts and bolts with hardened washers. Also beefed up the frame where the receiver bolts on. I drilled new holes in frame to allow the end of the receiver to be just covered a bit under the step bumper. With a little more work was able to replace full-size spare tire in nearly original position. All said everything worked out great. Other than upgrading to better nuts, bolts and washers (may have been unnecessary, just me) the purchased parts needed no work to fit. Made no changes to them. The extra work I did was on the truck frame. Again perhaps not necessary, just the way I do things. The fact I was able to buy aftermarket parts for my 50+ year old Ford pickup and have them fit perfectly was a real plus.
The transaction could not have gone smoother. Technical support to ensure proper sizing was great. Noah was terrific in arranging quick shipping and the package arrived as planned and I was able to use the hitch to transport my BBQ trailer to a 300 person company picnic. Woo-hoo!

Great product. Very heavy duty. Like the stainless steel. Adjustable height works great with my two trailers that take different ball heights, and the height of my F150 receiver.
I have had nearly all the mounts and hitches that are out there. By far this is the best one. Only issue I had was when I purchased it I had to purchase an extra locking mechanism for security. Now I think it is included.

The pin lock is not what it's cut out to be have trouble removing the key other then that love the hitch .
