Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform, so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers. A dual-sided hitch ball with a 1-7/8" and a 2" hitch ball (WS96RR- sold separately) is also available.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with two ball mount for your two inch shank. Now this 180 Hitch will slide into your two inch hitch receiver, and give you a two inch and a two and five 16 inch double sided tow ball. So this is going to allow you to switch tow ball sizes very easily and this is going to give you an a maximum of an eight inch drop in this orientation. And then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum of a nine inch rise with an incremental adjustment of one inch.
So this is going to give you that height adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights with the same tow vehicle. Now when you're using the two and five 16 inch hitch ball, the gross towing weight is gonna be 12,500 pounds. With the two inch ball, it's gonna be 8,000 pounds. This has a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. This hitch is constructed of aircraft aluminum, so this is going to give you that superior strength and durability.
The solid block construction is going to give you greater strength than a lot of hollow steel options that's gonna maintain a light weight. So obviously this is going to be rust proof. This clean finish is going to stand the test of time. This is gonna be great to use with like your bow trailers anywhere where you're gonna be around water frequently. And the hitch balls here are chrome plated.
So again, they're gonna do a great job of resisting corrosion. This features a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height, and switching the tow ball sizes very easy. So I'm gonna remove this rubber cover that's included. That covers obviously gonna protect the lock core from dust and debris. You're gonna get two tube keys here and so I'm gonna use one of them, slide it into the lock, give it a turn here.
And then that's going to allow me to remove the pins here. I'm gonna go ahead and remove that. And so the pins and the housing are aluminum, and the lock here, this is a plated steel lock. So again, this is gonna hold up to corrosion as well. You're not gonna have to worry about that getting corroded or anything like that. And so as you can see, this is going to slide up and down very easily with no problems whatsoever. So that's going to allow me to easily not only adjust the height, but also adjust the ball size just like that. And then a really nice feature here is that you're gonna be able to stow this as well. So if you're not needing to use the balls and you want to get this outta your way, you can just stow it like that. You'll line up the holes there, and slide the pin in just like that. And then you're not gonna have to worry about walking past and accidentally banging your shin into the ball. So that's a nice feature that this includes. So let me go ahead and replace this, and then I'm gonna go ahead, and replace our pins here. So I'm gonna line up those holes like that. And so you can see how every how smoothly everything operates, it's gonna be virtually no time at all to make those adjustments that you need or get the ball sides that you need, and you're not gonna be struggling at the back of your truck. Now, while I have this lined up like this, let me retrieve my ruler, give you some measurements here that might prove helpful for you. So the first measurement I want to give you is from the center of the hitch pin. I'm sorry. From the center of the hitch ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole. So hopefully you can see that there. That's gonna be about eight and a half inches on center. And then moving over to the center of our second hitch pin hole, pretty close to nine and five eights inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about one and seven eights inches. This is V5 and J684 certified. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Super happy with the hitch..highly recommend. Half the weight of a steel hitch. We are working
This isn't the cheapest hitch on the market, but it is certainly high quality. The carrier slides as it should as does the ball. The locks for the receiver and the carrier are keyed the same and they give you 4 keys. I personally like the double pinned carrier instead of a single pin as some of the others do. I have only had it a week but, I'm impressed so far.
