Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features stainless-steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Weigh Safe 180 hitch with a two ball mount for a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch shank with a max 10 inch drop and 11 inch rise with stainless steel balls and locks included. So folks, the two inch ball's gonna give you a weight rating of 8,000 pounds capacity, and the 2 5/16, a max gross trailer weight of 18,500 pounds. Now these measurements that go up or down are in one inch increments. Now a ball mount, as you know in this case, is dual-sided, meaning you can slip the balls over to change out the size of the trailer coupler that you're pulling and the height, so you can adjust the height depending on the height of the trailer coupler on the trailer you're holding. Now this is what's considered a stowable design, meaning I could technically take this pin out, pull the ball mount head off, flip it back on from underneath, and have it on this side, and now it's out of the way, I got more leg room here when I'm walking behind my tow vehicle.
The whole unit here is made of a solid piece of 6061-T6 billeted aluminum and the mounting platform as well. So no rust, no corrosion to worry about. The ball is a solid piece that goes through the whole middle. It's stainless steel, so same thing, super corrosion resistant and rust preventative as well. Now some quick dimensions.
From the center of this hitch pin hole to the center of the ball is 8 1/2 inches. And then if you go back to the further back hole, it's 9 5/8 inches. Now from this closest hole to the back to the back, it's 1 7/8 inches, center to the back. And from the back to the center of this hitch pin hole is three inches. Now as far as how you use this, it's pretty simple.
Again, you get four keys included. This lock here, tube keys, super nice, super reliable, hard to pick for anyone that's trying to steal your stuff. Simply unlock it, pull it out, set it aside, or reuse it when you're done, take the dust cover off of this guy here, put the key in, pull the dual pin out. Now in this case, we got a two inch, we wanna go to 2 5/16. Take it off, flip it 180, go right back on.
And I'm gonna go the same height just for demonstration purposes, it's easier. And now the locking part is on my side since we've inverted the whole head, and it's just as simple as lining up. And same thing, just put the key back in place, lock it, and you're ready to go. And obviously you'd wanna put the dust cover back over the lock. So again folks, very simple design. Nice dual sided hitch here by Weigh Safe, the 180 for the 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch shank. Folks, this is a nice option for you. We do carry this also in a four inch shank, a six inch, and an eight inch option as well. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look today. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Super happy with the hitch..highly recommend. Half the weight of a steel hitch. We are working
This isn't the cheapest hitch on the market, but it is certainly high quality. The carrier slides as it should as does the ball. The locks for the receiver and the carrier are keyed the same and they give you 4 keys. I personally like the double pinned carrier instead of a single pin as some of the others do. I have only had it a week but, I'm impressed so far.
