Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Thanks for joining me today while we take a look at our Weigh Safe two-ball ball mount with built-in scale for a two-and-a-half by two-and-a-half inch shank with a four inch drop or five inch rise. Now folks, you're gonna get two balls. One is a two-and-five-sixteenth ball, that's stainless steel rated at 18,500 pounds, and a two inch ball rated at 10,000 pounds stainless steel as well. The whole assembly here on the shank is built in aluminum 6061 T-6 to be exact. And the mounting platform as well was all one solid piece before they made 'em two different ones and milled it all out.

But that just means everything is rust proof, corrosion proof, and you won't have to worry about everything looking gunky and nasty. Now with the built-in scale, it's gonna allow you to see if you're at a safe balanced tongue weight, it's gonna promote safe towing. It'll help you load and adjust that load as needed before you run off and start towing and everything. You could adjust stuff if you needed to, and it's efficient, hassle free, and eliminates the need for separate or commercial scales by giving you the tongue weight here that you need. Now the adjustable height here gives you one inch increments of adjustment.

Again, you can use it in the drop or the rise as needed. Obviously you'd have to flip that over for the rise, but you get the concept. Now some quick measurements. Center ball to center of hitch pin here, eight-and-a-half inches. Center ball, center of hitch pin here, nine-and-five-eighth inches.

Now you do get four keys, everything here is keyed alike. You got two rubber covers. They're both gonna keep dust, grime, dirt out of these locks. So I'll just take a random set here, unlock the hitch pin. I can take that out.

What I like about the hitch pin lock is I can put it in and just push it in and now it's locked again. You don't have to have the key in there to lock it. So I'll take that same key and I'll undo the double pin down here. Pull that out. Let's say we want to swap the two inch ball to a two-and-five-eighths or two-and-five-sixteenths. My bad. So on the back here, you got a pin with the key ring. I simply dip it over like that. It pretty much falls out on its own. Pull the two inch ball out, replace it with the two-and-five-sixteenths. Line up on the holes and everything back here. Pop it back in, everything's flush. Now I can put this back onto the ball mount. Put my locking mechanism back in. Now I'm locked in. Dust cover back on for protection of the lock itself. And now I'm ready to tow that two-and-five-sixteenth inch coupler or trailer setup. So that quick folks, it's that easy. Not much to it. Again, you get the key to like locks. Everything here is gonna be rust and corrosion resistant. Everything here is built to last.
