Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Weight Safe steel dual ball mount with built-in scale for a 2 1/2 inch shank with a 6 inch drop and a 7 inch rise. So folks, you're gonna get two balls. The 2 inch ball is rated at 8,000 pounds capacity while the 2 5/16th inch ball is rated at 22,000 pounds capacity. So, a big difference there.

Now, I do wanna show you a closeup of the scale to start off with. That's what the scale looks like. And as you know, a tongue weight scale built into this ball mount should help you balance your trailer, promote save towing. I mean, it's gonna let you know if you need to adjust some stuff, to change your tongue weight up or down. It's very simple to use.

Simply drop your tongue on there and it automatically gives you that measurement of weight every time you couple that trailer. It's efficient, hassle-free. It's gonna eliminate the need for whereabout using separate or commercial scales. The adjustable height here, as I said, gives you an up or down of 6 or 7 inches, as far as the drop 7 rise. And these holes are one inch spaced out.

Now, you could also tow with the same vehicle, different height trailers and coupler sizes with this. Now you do get keyed alike pins and clips, meaning the hitch pin here and the 2-prong lock down here for the head unit, lemme pop this off. That's just the rubber dust cover. You get 4 tube keys included. And the cool thing about this is, again, they're keyed alike.

Simply insert the tube key, unlock the hitch pin, it's good to go. Now, if I wanna swap over from say, the 2 5/16ths to the 2 inch, all I gotta simply do with the same key since they're keyed alike is just simply unlock that, pull that dual pin out, that is hardened steel, take the mount off the top here or bottom, whichever's easier. And then on the back of this unit, you're gonna see this pin in here with that ring. Just simply pop that out, take the ball out, put the 2 inch ball back in, lining up the holes. Put that pin back in. It's gonna recess back inside of there. And then, simply slide this back onto the shank itself, either from the top or the bottom. And that pin popped out on me. There we go. Okay, so I've got that back in place. Now, it's as simple as putting the locking pin right back in there, locking it, and now I'm ready to go. I can put this cover back on. Keep dust grime, dirt, debris out. The cool thing with this hitch pin, you simply push it in and it automatically locks. So, that's a very nice feature that I like personally. And again, the balls, stainless steel construction. They're not gonna rust or corrode on you anytime soon. This steel unit and the head unit here are all carbon steel. It's been black powder coated. You don't have to worry about rust or corrosion on that as well. The whole unit is D5 J684 certified. And to close off here, from the center of this ball to the center of this hitch pin hole, the closest one, 8 inches. And then, from the center of this hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, 9 1/8th inches. Now, from this hole center to the back is 2 3/8th inches, and the other center hole to the back, 3 1/2 inches. Well, folks, that will wrap it up.
