I don't typically leave reviews, but this product earned one. Everything went on exactly how it should with zero issues. The measurement for the hole was perfect. The hardware used was top notch and had no issues torquing to spec. The install was quick, and every step of the way was simple and thought out, and communicated effectively in the instruction pages. VERY impressed with the kit, and how strong everything is. This is going to be a huge help for towing our mules around with the tundra. Big thanks to etrailer for the communication and fast shipping, making sure I could get this installed before mule days!

by:

Works great. I pull a 3h with my short bed Tundra and this gave me the extra breathing room I needed

by:

The hitch was perfect. I did have it installed by my local RV team. They did an awesome job for about $450. Not too bad, and give me a level of comfort I needed to tow my horses in the 5th wheel horse trailer. E-trailer filled my order efficiently, expeditiously and all the relevant information was readily available on the web page. Thanks!

by:

We have ordered 2 trailer hitches. They both arrived in a few days and both were exactly what we expected. I would definitely order from them again and recommend them!

by:

This is our second one, I got tired of moving back and forth between trucks. This helps give needed clearance for short bed trucks to the cab and long bed truck with the tail gate to our LQ horse trailer.

by:

I have a Tundra CrewMax with a super short bed and this ball was the key for safe towing of my goose neck trailer. It gave me the extra 4 inches of clearance so I could make tight corners without worrying about hitting the cab with the trailer. Great product.

by:

Very happy with the quality of this part and look forward to using it on my Tundra to pull our Camper. Shipped quickly and am overall impressed with the experience I've had with E-Trailer.

by:

Received the product promptly and great customer service. Have not used it yet but very excited to give it a try!

This product is exactly what I needed to offset our new “Reese Goose-box” pin box to better accommodate the clearance for the fuel tank and tool box in the bed of our truck. Thanks to the knowledge of the “etrailer” staff (specifically Stacy) she went the extra mile, taking additional time to assure all the products I needed were perfect for my application. Thank you Stacy for all your assistance and patience with my order.
P.S. I added the yellow strip down the center of the pin box to help guide me when hooking up. Perhaps “Reese” will add this little idea to their future pin boxes as an option?

by:

I can only rate the service from etrailer.com because I haven’t actually used the 4” Offset Ball yet. It arrived as promised and in good shape. It looks exactly like the picture I I have no doubt whatsoever that it will work perfectly for my fifth wheel. Very happy with etrailer.com

by:

This worked perfectly like I wanted it too. I was able to pull our new fifth wheel camper and it won't get into the cab when I turn, thank you Etrailer.

by:

The 4” offset adds better balance at the same time provides adequate clearance between nose of trailer and cab . Thanks

  • Suspension Enhancement That Works With Gooseneck Hitch on 2022 Toyota Tundra
While there is a suspension enhancement option that will work with a gooseneck hitch on your 2022 Toyota Tundra, the air bags you asked about will not because they mount in the same location as the hitch brackets. So instead, what you will need to use are Timbrens, with the correct part number for your '22 Tundra being the following: - Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR I verified that the # T45MR uses a different style and positioning of brackets than air bags, which is why...

  • Correct 4" Offset Gooseneck Hitch Ball for 2022 Toyota Tundra with B&W Turnoverball
I spoke to B&W and they recommended using the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # BWGNXA4085 with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BW96FR on a 2022 Toyota Tundra. The 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Toyota Tundra part # BWGNXA4585 was for the previous generation Toyota Tundra which has a shallow hitch pin hole, it's not advised for the new generation.

  • Determining What Is Needed For Gooseneck Trailer Turning Clearance On 5-1/2' Bed 2019 Toyota Tundra
Thank you for the images Barb, but you are going to have to take a couple measurements to verify what is going to work best for your exact situation. It looks like you have a 2019 Toyota Tundra with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1257 for the 5-1/2' bed. I do see according to the image provided your trailer is 80" wide so to make a full jack knife turn you would need more than 40" from the center of the hitch ball in the bed to the cab. This is not likely...

  • 4" Hole Location For B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch On a 2020 Toyota Tundra
The hole for the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1257 is to be placed at 42-3/8" from the rear of the truck bed and centered between the fenders on your 2020 Toyota Tundra. The hole location is the same for all bed lengths of your Tundra. This information is found in the installation instructions which I have linked below. A 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4585 can be used in place of the original ball for increased clearance and turning radius.

  • What Reese Goose Box Do I Need for My 2021 Grand Design Solitude 3740BH?
Thanks so much for the photos and the information! I went ahead and called my tech at Lippert, and she confirmed that your 2021 Grand Design Solitude 3740BH has a 1621HD pinbox This is important to know when determining the bolt pattern on your pinbox. Also, from my available specs, your trailer has a gross vehicle weight of 16,800 pounds. • Can the 4 Inch Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Be Used With the Anderson Ultimate
For starters, the correct 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches that is needed to use on a Dodge Ram 2500/3500 is part # BWGNXA4085 or part # BWGNXA4685 for a Dodge Ram 1500, not part # BWGNXA4585 which is for a Toyota Tundra. That said, you can use this with your Anderson Ultimate 5th Wheel to Gooseneck but since the hitch ball will add height you will need to make adjustments to your coupler accordingly.

  • Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 2013 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2 foot Bed
For your 2013 Toyota Tundra with a 5-1/2 foot bed the best option will be the B and W Gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1257 with the 4 inch extender part # BWGNXA4585. The extension won't help much, but if your trailer has a very narrow nose like a livestock trailer this would be best shot. If the trailer has living quarters and a wide nose you really won't have a way to do it.

  • Recommended Offset Ball for B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
I do have a solution for you, however the Draw-Tite 5" Offset Ball # 19308 mentioned in your question is not compatible with B&W gooseneck hitches. There a few compatible offset balls for your B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch, depending on the specific model that you have. To ensure you get the correct one, you just want to take a measurement from the locking pin hole to the bottom of the square base on your hitch ball. I have included an image that shows where you want to take this measurement....

  • Can A Rotating Pin Box be used With A B&W Companion Gooseneck To 5th Wheel Adapter?
Due to the a rotating pin box moving the pivot point off of the head of the hitch, it will cause too much movement and stress on an adapter like the B&W Companion # BWRVK3400 (sliding) or # BWRVK3500 (fixed). Due to this, you cannot use rotating pin boxes with this type of adapter, unfortunately. With that being said, what you may want to look at is the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter, like the # RP85FR for a 1621 pin box, coupled with an offset gooseneck...
