Today were going to review Part# BWGNXA4585. This is the B&W 4-inch offset ball for the B&W turnover gooseneck trailer hitch, Part# BWGNRK1257.This offset ball will move your pivot point of your trailer 4 inches rearward to provide additional cab clearance. It is designed to work exclusively with the B&W turnover gooseneck trailer hitch, Part# BWGNRK1257. This has the square ball base which will prevent the ball from turning in the hitch during hookup. Its made of a sturdy steel construction. The part is made in the USA.
The ball size on it is 2-5/16th in diameter. Again, the offset is 4 inches so its measured from the center of the square base to the center of where the ball is. If we put a ruler on this, just to give you an idea of the 4-inch that youll be gaining center to center, this will provide additional cab clearance for you.It does have a weight capacity of 20,000 pounds. It has a vertical load limit or pin weight capacity of 5,000 pounds.What I want to do here is Im going to rotate the table here. What I ended up doing as I pulled that turnover ball gooseneck hitch Part #BWGNRK1257, I have it right here, the hitch head just to give you an idea of what it looks like.
You pull out the ball that comes with it. You can see it has a square opening. All you have to do, if this will be the rear of your truck bed and this is will be where the truck cab is, what you do is you drop this in that square opening. Once it drops in, you can see it moves that ball from this hitch another 4 inches rearward that provides your additional clearance. Its very easy to do.
Then, you just release your handle and the pin would lock this adaptor into place.That should do it for the review on Part# BWGNXA4585, the B&W 4-inch offset ball for the B&W turnover gooseneck trailer hitch, Part# BWGNRK1257. .

Works great. I pull a 3h with my short bed Tundra and this gave me the extra breathing room I needed
The hitch was perfect. I did have it installed by my local RV team. They did an awesome job for about $450. Not too bad, and give me a level of comfort I needed to tow my horses in the 5th wheel horse trailer. I have a Tundra CrewMax with a super short bed and this ball was the key for safe towing of my goose neck trailer. It gave me the extra 4 inches of clearance so I could make tight corners without worrying about hitting the cab with the trailer. Great product.

This product is exactly what I needed to offset our new “Reese Goose-box” pin box to better accommodate the clearance for the fuel tank and tool box in the bed of our truck. Thanks to the knowledge of the “etrailer” staff (specifically Stacy) she went the extra mile, taking additional time to assure all the products I needed were perfect for my application. P.S. I added the yellow strip down the center of the pin box to help guide me when hooking up. Perhaps “Reese” will add this little idea to their future pin boxes as an option?

Have an older 5th wheel style camper with a hitch adaptor, that coupled with newer style pickup boxes caused the camper to be to close to the box. This hitch helped a fair bit. It set the camper 1" higher off the box and 4" back to give more space between the bumper and camper which helps when hooking up.

Fast shipping... The B&W 4in extension hitch ball is really good. I have used it a couple of times works great wish I had gotten one sooner. Problem I had was in a newer 2500hd the gooseneck was to close to toolbox and really close to rear window. With this extender ball problem is solved...

Quality construction, fits perfectly. I needed as much clearance as possible after installing a sleeper cab on my Ram 3500. I utilized this as well as the B&W extenda-goose coupler which collectively made sharp turns easier.

Although I haven’t had the gooseneck hitch or the extender installed on my truck yet, I just want to respond to the customer service I received. I spoke with two different ladies over two days and they help me figure out which hitch I needed for my truck and were extremely helpful. I was told I would receive the hitch in about a week but it showed up two days later. I’m very happy with the company and would definitely use them again

Installing it on a 2016 Ram 2500 diesel crew cab swb with factory puck prep. Changed the factory goose ball out to a B&W turnoverball. Have not got to use it yet, but I am going to change to a Reese goosebox hitch on my 5th wheel
