Today we're going to review part number BWHB94009. This is the B & W 2 5/16" hitch ball with the long shank and a 30,000 pound weight capacity. Now, this hitch ball will provide connection point to the trailer's coupler. It is designed for very heavy-duty towing. It is a heat-treated steel which is very durable. It has a very raw finish to it.
The lock washer and the nut are included. A few specs on this, the ball diameter is 2 5/16." The weight capacity again is 30,000 pounds, which is stamped at the top of the ball. A few measurements on this, this has 4 1/2 threads per inch. The length of the shank is 3 1/2". The diameter is 2". It's a 2" diameter by 3 1/2" long shank. Again, just the way it would go together, you put your lock washer on.
Go ahead and put that onto the nut. Then you tighten that down. That should do it for the review of part number BWHB94009, B & W 2 5/16" hitch ball. .

Designed for heavy-duty towing.I will start off by saying that it was not hard for me to locate the item I was looking for. Ordering was as normal as other sites. Delivery arrived a day early. I did order the proper ball, so no return.
The thing that got me, was everybody's bios. Looking at the tracking, I saw everybody that processed a step in my order. Haven't you heard about TMI. I am the person that is buying a product, not looking for a Date. If you sale good products and service, customers will return. Putting an individual Bio does not sale your products.
Got the order super fast and they seemed to be the only business to have what I was looking for. Thank you

I purchased a different truck that had an existing mount but didn't have the ball. I had to find a 2 5/16" ball with a 2"D shank. I could find these in a 10,000 version but I wasn't comfortable with that weight. I found this B&W ball from etrailer and when it came in it was exactly what I needed. It fit perfect. Highly recommend the product and company. I had it in 2 days from the time I ordered.

I bought a fleet truck that had a 3-inch 30,000 pound ball hitch with a 4 inch Shank. This one was only three and a half, but it worked fine.
This was the only one I could find with 4.5
threads per inch the next closest was 5 threads per inch which probably wouldn't fit.
Probably the most heavy duty ball available, great for custom projects. Added it to my single axle semi
