Today we're going to take a look at the B&W 2 5/16 Replacement Hitch Ball for the B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook Combo. This hitch ball will work with the B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook Combos, we do sell those separately on our website. This ball will act as a direct replacement for the ball that comes standard with part number BWTS10056, and this can also be added to part number BWTS10055 to provide a 2 5/16 diameter ball. This part comes with the ball itself and the locking nut. The ball, they use a dual process chrome plating which provides excellent rust resistance. The diameter of the ball, and it's also stamped on the top is 2 5/16, and it's also stamped 10,000 pound weight capacity. This part is made in the USA.
All you would do is drop this in through the hole, put your lock nut on there, and then tighten it down, torque it to the correct specs, and you'll be all ready to go. That should do it for the review of the B&W 2 5/16 Replacement Hitch Ball for the B&W Tow & Stow Pintle Hook Combo.

Chrome plating resists corrosion.Work was throwing away a B&W Hideaway Hitch because the ball was worn out. Got this in the mail a few days later and the hitch is like new.
Product description is terrible. Shank diameter is correct but there is no shank length so the lock nut barely locks on the shank.

The ball has been working as expected. I do wish B&W made a 1-7/8 ball for tow-and-stow pintle setup for small trailers and attachments for the farm, but the ball works great, of course. It is fairly rust resistant from what I have seen so far.

Very high quality. Does everything you would expect from a tow ball. I especially like the cutout used to eliminate spinning while tightening the ball, that is a really nice detail.
