Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Hide A Goose Goose Neck Hitch Ball with the two and 5/16th inch diameter. Now this unit's made from a durable steel construction, features a really nice chrome finish so it gives it a good look. And it's designed to resist rust and corrosion. Again, it's a two and 5/16th ball. The weight capacity is located right here on the top of the ball, as well as the hitch ball size, so two and 5/16th inches and it has a capacity of 30,000 pounds.Shank diameter, that's this bottom portion here, take a measurement of that real quick. That measures two and 5/8ths of an inch.
This can be stored upside down when your trailer's not connected. It's got the bar in there so you can easily grab it, pull it out of the hitch, flip it over, drop it in, secure it in place by engaging the pin that would go through the holes here on the base of the ball.Now this is designed to fit model numbers 9460, 9461, 9462, 9463, 9465, 9470, 9471 and 9474. Just as pictured. It fits the Draw-Tite GN on my 2011 Silverado 2500 HD perfectly! It is a big heavy-duty item and must weigh about 10#. The weld around the ball is nicely done.
Good product. Would be nice if the hitch plate kit had the option to include this ball. b/c now I have the straight ball that I don't use that came with the system.
It works great now my camper is not right at my back window. But I gave it 3 stars because I still have to remove my toolbox on my 2012 F150 Supercrew.
