Tow Ready Pintle Hitch Replacement Ball, 2"

Today we're going to be taking a look at Part Number TR63051, this is the Pintle Hitch Ball with 2" Diameter. It's made from a steel construction and it's going to have a nice chrome finish so it's going to be protected from rust and corrosion. It's also got the nice wrench flats here on the side for an easier installation. When installing this, it will need to be torqued to the specifications listed by the manufacturer. It's going to offer a weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. The shank diameter on this hitch ball, take a measurement of that real quick, that's going to give us a diameter of 1 1/8 of an inch. Again the ball diameter is a 2 inch hitch ball.
Our shank length, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2 1/8 of an inch. Then just the threaded portion, that's going to give us a measurement of about 1 1/8 of an inch. With this part number you're going to get your 2 inch hitch ball. Again, it's going to have a capacity of 10,000 pounds and you're going to get your lock nut. It does not appear that this item accomodate the application I was hopimg for. I would like to return this item.
It is hard to find a 2" ball with 1 1/8" shank. This fits an older pintle hitch to perfection. Weight rating is great also. Shank length could be a little longer but length was adequate. etrailer does a great job of supplying trailer related parts.
First off service and customer care is great.
Hitch ball is just what I needed and good quality. Etrailer was and is the best source for my projects.

This went on an old Buyers pintel hitch. I wanted a 2" ball and needed a 1 1/8" shank and they had it in stock and shipped it immediately. The online description was very accurate and answered all my questions.

Due to pintle hitch ball wear and shock load we like to change the hitch ball at least once a year for safety.
This product is a good fit and will keep us in the safety comfort zone

fits perfect in my buyers brand pintle hitch with a 1 1/8 shank sized hole.Now i have the ability to use my pintle for 2" and 2 15/16 couplers.
