etrailers blue ox Hitch receiver Lock works great
I’m confident no one can mess with it while I am at dinner or at my campsite or just going into a gas station
etrailer has what you need very good business

by:

Website easy to locate missing and worn out parts from my Thule rack. All back to new condition now!

by:

Good security and I like having one key operate the pins

by:

Wheel feels very solid and I received it quickly. I had it welded to 5/16" wall 2" X 2" steel tubing so I can insert it when necessary . I didn't want to weld it under the tow hitch itself because of already low clearance . When inserted into the tow hitch the wheel extends 3/4" lower than hitch. My truck is a 2022 Chevy single axel cutaway.

by:

Easy to use and provides much extra security. Using it with a bike rack that stays on the jeep most of the time.

by:

Does what it is intended to do!

by:

Good products fairly priced, took 4days to get here, paid for 3day shipping

by:

I like securing my expensive blue-ox from theft. Disappointed that the chrome so quickly rusted.

by:

I recently bought several products from etrailer including a Curt 2” receiver hitch, Yakima bike rack, and a Blue Ox locking hitch pin. ettrailer was super easy to buy from. They definitely had the best prices and super quick shipping and their fit guide worked perfect when trying to get a product that will work with what I have. The Blue Ox locking hitch pin works great for securing your hitch. Fits perfect and is super easy to use. Would definitely recommend E-trailer to friends and family.

by:

Great build. Heavy duty locking mechanism. Have no doubts this lock will hold up over time. Marked down one star because it's a little short for the gen 2.5 Tundra's receiver hitch and required me to shave off some metal off the stock receiver to get it to fit.

by:

Did it's job well, unfortunately, when I upgraded to a 2.5inch receiver hitch the lock no longer fit

by:

The lock has started to rust and is hard to unlock with the key even though I have kept the rubber keyhole cover in place to protect it.

by:

Had the lock 1 year, still looks good and have had no problems with it. I actually have 2 and would definitely recommend this product and of course etrailer. Great products, prices, fast shipping and great customer service.

by:

E trailer had locking hitch pins that I needed and keyed them the same Love not having to figure out what key goes with what pin. Everything was in stock and shipping was fast.

by:

Added a step down receiver to the receiver on the new motorhome and need to remove the tow bar when it is being stowed. I hate using the spring mounted bolts that are standard (hard on the fingers) and this works great. Be sure you know whether you need one that is 2" or 2 1/2". I measured and bought the 2" one.

by:

Have used it primarily with u-haul trailers. Sturdy, good locking, functional, would buy again.

by:

This product was good, but did not fit my hitch because I actually needed a inside length of 3 inch to 3 1/2 long to fit. This one was too short. However, not the fault of etrailer. Had to send back.

by:

I have not used this lock yet, but I wanted to take this opportunity to commend etrailer for their unparalleled customer service. This is not my first order and it will certainly not be the last. I wish other companies were even half as attentive and efficient.

by:

Package arrived in good shape - just what I ordered. Installed easily & works great to tow car behind RV with bike rack in upper receiver spot. Arrived one day ahead of promised. Thanks

by:

Strong and easy to lock, non intrusive with safety chains or electrical equipment

by:

Bought the Blue Ox tow bar also. Couldn't be happier.

by:

I've had this product(receiver Lock) for about a year now and it still works great. Easy to install and remove.

by:

Product as described. Use on pickup trailer hitch. Heavy duty.

by:

Received my order today and was surprised by the beefy size of the lock. The finish is very nice! This will definitely secure my solid stock Draw-Tite ball mount.

by:

Delivery was right on time! Thank you “etrailer” I will definitely be placing more orders with you.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver, Wiring Harness, and Other Parts to Tow with a 2014 Kia Sorento
The two Class III trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2014 Kia Sorento LX are the Curt # C13152 and the Draw-Tite # 75772. Both have a similar design and look once installed. The Curt has a higher weight capacity but the Draw-Tite is still rated well above what your Sorento can tow so that shouldn't be a deciding factor for you. If I had to choose one I'd go with the Curt just because of the amount of positive reviews we've received. The Draw-Tite's reviews are just as positive but...

Your 2016 Air Stream Serenity 25FB has a GVWR of 7300 lbs and a dry hitch weight of 833 lbs. This information is important in helping us determine the correct weight distribution system for your needs. Weight distribution is based on total tongue weight which is your completely loaded and ready to go camping tongue weight along with any cargo behind the rear axle of your F-150. You want that total tongue weight to be in the middle of your weight distribution system's rated tongue weight...

We have a great hitch that will work well for you. The Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/Stacked Receivers, Item # 325-GH-315, is one of our top-end hitches that is heavy duty and very adjustable. It has a maximum towing weight capacity of 10,000-lbs and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1,500-lbs. It has a maximum rise/drop of 10-inches. It comes with two balls: 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch. This Gen-Y hitch ball mount is made in the USA. I also recommend getting the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle...

On your 2007 Honda Pilot the parts you mentioned can all be used for towing a trailer. The Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13328 is confirmed to fit and will work great for you. The wiring harness # C55336 is the correct part for your Pilot. However, it isn't designed to be mounted under the bumper of the vehicle. It's generally stored inside the rear compartment and then ran out of the closed rear hatch when in use. The thick rubber seal along the hatch doesn't damage the...

There are three trailer wiring harnesses that fit the 2011 Jeep Liberty. The Tekonsha # 118554, Curt # C56334, and a Hopkins # HM11142485. All three provide a 4-way connector and install by plugging in behind both tail lights. There is also a hot lead wire that will be run to the battery and a fuse to be installed. Since you won't be able to determine the rise or drop you need ahead of time I recommend going with an adjustable ball mount on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline. My choice is the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10040B. It provides up to either a 7 inch drop or 7-1/2 inch rise. It also has the feature to be flipped under the hitch and stored away while not in use. This keeps it out of the way when accessing the bed of your Ridgeline. It also keeps you legal because some states have outlawed driving with...

  • What Does the Span of a Locking Hitch Pin Refer To
The span of a locking hitch pin like the Blue Ox # BX8858 means the amount of space that can fit between the two walls of the hitch receiver- so yes, basically the distance from the outside wall of one side of the receiver to the other. We have noticed that certain Toyota factory hitches have a thicker walls on their receivers that measure 2-7/8" instead of just under 2-3/4" so if you've got a Toyota truck with a factory receiver you would need to use a locking hitch pin like the # BX88212...

Yes, you can install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2009 Toyota Tacoma. There's a couple of options depending on your trailer. First you're going to need to start with a 4-way flat connector like you've already found. I suggest the Curt # C55513 which plugs into your truck's wiring either behind the taillights or the rear bumper. Once you have the 4-way, if your trailer does not have brakes you can use an adapter, # 37185, to go from the 4-way to provide a 7-way. However, installing...
