Very elegant solution to secure your hitch. Bought this item and the hitch alignment collar on the recommendations made on the video for the Yakima OnRamp eBike Rack. Much better than the pin system Yakima provided that requires a wrench each time you remove the hitch.
Been very pleased with the fit, strength, and smoothness of the lock and key.

I dont use it often but when I do its great!
Ordered this item in late December, specifically because it is described as "rustproof, stainless steel." After only a few months use, on a vehicle that is garage kept and also kept very clean, it is already starting to rust. etrailer.com will only replace if I cover the shipping to send it back to them first. IMO, etrailer.com should do better to back the products that they sell. I don't wish to spend any more money, even if it is only shipping cost, to get a replacement that will likely do the same thing. NOT RUSTPROOF.
I have used the Trailer Hitch Lock off and on for the past year.
It is easy to use, I do not leave it in place while I am not towing.
Great product and protects my aluminum ball mount & stainless ball from theft and I know its secure while towing. Very easy to remove, better than a pin and clip.
I bought this to replace another locking hitch pin that was a real pain to use. This pin works great, very much easier to lock and unlock.
I have used e-trailer for all my hitch and accessories. You are a great company to work with and, when I call, I always get someone who is very helpful with my decision making process.
This is the best hitch lock of all the other brands. It is very solid and worth the price! I have 2 of these locks and have been very pleased!

Products arrived on time and as promised. Ordered them Keyed Alike and one was not. Called Etrailer and they immediately made the correction in their system and even offered to mail it to where I would be since I was leaving on a trip with my boat. Customer service is always excellent. Thats why they are always my first choice.
This company has about anything your looking for, a one shop stop. I was going to by a shocker hitch also from them, but ended up buying of off the manufacture for the same price. I would recommend this company, the items that I ordered was delivered with in 2 to 3 days.

Great after 1 yr, got couple these and couple of coupler locks , e trailer keyed them all the same. Works great to use same key for RV and car hauler trailer.
Worked perfectly and love the fact that these can be ordered as keyed alike. Being stainless steel, they should last the lifetime of the truck.
As you can see in the pictures, I have a class III receiver hitch welded to the Iron Bull brand front and the rear bumpers and employ your receiver locks to secure my front license plate and the chrome and black Colorado cap in the rear when I am not using the hitch to pull my bass boat.
Easy to use, and solid construction. I don't always know where I am going to park my vehicle, but now I know I won't easily lose the attachment.
Because Rams need more emblems and badges! Seriously, have had a dozen Ram owners ask about this hitch cover. So good looking and well made have used a locking pin to keep folks honest.
Well built and designed trailer hitch, fits great with my GMC. Recommended this unit to all who have a multi-pro tailgate on their truck.
Don't waste you time buying this. I used their vehicle option which should have chosen the correct part. Turns out it did not fit. I had the correct one chosen at check out but wanted to make sure so I used their vehicle option. It changed it from the 2 1/2" to the 2". When I got it, it did not fit. The company said I can return it but wants me to pay for the return shipping when it was their fault the thing did not fit. Your better off going to your local marine shop for anything you want and don't bother with these BS websites. If you go local, it's garunteed to fit, and if it doesn't there is no fee for shipping. You save money. I paid $XX at my local marine shop with no issues at all. Don't be lazy and shop local. You will save time and money.
Works like it should. I spray the key hole with wd 40 so it doesn't stick. There's a little rust on it , which is surprising since it's stainless, but wy better than if it was just reg steel
Solid. Snug fit in the hitch receiver. A clean look. Used year-round in the northeast and has stayed clean and unweathered through the four seasons. Recommend this purchase.

Still working great after a year!
great lock that fits my 2003 4Runner (which does not fit a conventional angled lock with cotter pin). it fits really well and there is little to no play between the lock's shaft and the hitch's lock hole, meaning hopefully there will be no rattle. it is just barely wider than the hitch, so again, little to no play. the lock uses a key and thread system, so you turn the key a number of revolutions, as you are unthreading a screw, rather than unlocking a conventional lock. nice rubber cover for the lock to avoid grime.
