This trailer hitch is great! It's very discreet by showing just the hitch and not the full bar! That way you don't loose any clearance when driving over bumps!

Hitch was a perfect fit. Installation video was very helpful—much better than what came inside the box. Hitch installation only took an hour. Very happy with my purchase. Also installed wiring harness as seen in photo. That took a little longer as wiring installation video available was for 2018. 2019 had some slight changes behind panel and underneath the car—but was easy to improvise a solution. Thank you etrailer for the videos!!!

Hitch is solid! No issues. Used it for our Curt 5-bike rack and a 8’ x 4’ utility trailer. Great investment and reasonable cost—saved a bundle when you install yourself. Before you say you can’t do it, watch the etrailer videos...they will change your mind.

I've had the Curt 2" hitch for a year now and it's worked great. Installation went smoothly - the step-by-step video is invaluable. Two tips - first I printed out screenshots of key points in the video to take under the van with me. Second, the purchase of a pair of plastic wheel ramps for the van ($40/auto store) made installation much more comfortable. etrailer's video with my specific year, make, and model made it possible though - just a great resource.

I fought this install for hours. Both sides of this hitch were out of square. 1/4” on one side, 7/8” on the other. Put it in my bench vise and bent it into shape. Did it very carefully so as not to ruin the powder coat finish. Bolted up easy after that. etrailer customer service was great and very responsive. Arranged to ship me a replacement quickly, which wasn’t necessary in the end. Three stars only because I shouldn’t have to (or be able to) bend my trailer hitch in a bench vise. It’s bonkers, but it worked: https://www.etrailer.com/faq-my-trailer-hitch-doesnt-fit.aspx

2015 Toyota Sienna

I ordered this hitch on Wednesday (with free shipping), received it on Friday and installed it on Saturday. It fits perfectly on my 2015 Sienna. I had a Drawtite hitch installed which I removed to install this Curt concealed hitch. The Drawtite kept bottoming out with a light duty trailer attached. I installed this by myself, but a second person would be helpful. It took me roughly 2 hours total to remove the Drawtite and install this one. I backed the car up on ramps and loosened the tailpipe hanger behind the right rear wheel. Here is the way I did the 2-man job by myself (I'm 73 yrs. old). After removing the old hitch, I loosely put one bolt (just a couple of turns) in the forward most hitch mounting hole on each side. Then I lifted the hitch and tied it loosely to each of these 2 bolts. Then I was able to maneuver the concealed part of the hitch behind the rear fascia, following the instructions on the etrailer video. After the hitch was in place, I opened the trunk and tied the 2" receiver just below the fascia loosey to the trunk latch. At this point the hitch was loosely suspended in position. I removed the tied up end and bolt from one side and screwed it loosely in place and then did the same for the other side. To finish up I inserted, tightened up and torqued all six bolts. This hitch has no place to attach the wiring plug, so you have to be creative there. All in all a great experience dealing with etrailer and a perfectly fitting, nearly invisible hitch.

After a year this hitch is still working as expected. A greeat purchase.

Perfect fit. The installation instructions were very helpful and provided enough detail to prepare for the job and execute the job with no problems. Since I did not have a lift, I used a cinder block and leftover pieces of 2x4 and hardwood flooring to prop up the receiver prior to installing the bolts. I used the shipping box to slide the equipment into position. The box also acted as a back cushion.

Super easy to install and looks factory. It's a good idea to follow the simple etrailer install video than follow the instructions that were provided, which recommends that you take off the bumper. There were some scratches and scuff marks on the trailer which could have happened during delivery - box was torn open slightly when I got it. Other than that, I'm happy once again with etrailer's pricing and tutorial video.

This hitch is wonderful! We got it a year ago before moving overseas with the military. It has worked perfectly to hold our family bike rack on multiple occasions and (according to my husband) was an easy install from the start. Great product 10/10 recommend!

Can’t complain about anything. I installed this hitch on my 2018 Toyota Sienna LE AWD with a friend. We required some tools (plastic pry tools, shears to cut plastic body panels, wrenches, jack and stands, etc.). The hitch keeps my Thule four bike rigidly attached. The only wiggle or slop I feel is in the rack and not the hitch.

Since I was installing this solo in the driveway, I had to figure out a way to lift and get it into place. Using a large floor car jack with wheels and a long handle, I could maneuver and lift the device into place while I worked the bolts by hand. NOTE: not mentioned in the shee that came with it, was the need to bend two bolts out of the way for installation, and then bend the bolts back into place. These are the two closes the the back hitch location that you use a giant Philips screwdriver to remove the skid plate from. The cardboard box itself is great for sliding underneath the vehicle.

The only thing this is missing is a mounting point for the trailer harness.

So far, so good! The installation itself was pretty easy, as there used to be a hitch before. I like that it's hidden, with just the receiver showing. Quality seems good, and price was reasonable. We also installed a spare tire holder into the hitch and it's working out great!

Great Hitch, pretty easy to install. Just needed it for a bike rack, so no lights package installed. It does what I needed it to do and when not in use (bike rack), It does not effect the appearance of the vehicle. Highly recommend.

Hitch fit like a glove. Fit and finish were excellent. I followed the directions on etrailer's website (Thank you) This hitch is primarily going to be used for a bike rack but also occasionally towing a small boat. I would recommend a second set of hands when installing. It was heavy to do solo.

This hitch is amazing! Easy to install and nicely tucks under the rear bumper fascia so it doesn't hang down so far. Don't use the printed instructions though; use the video and save yourself a lot of hassle. My second hitch from etrailer. Great service!

Ordered on Monday before Thanksgiving and it arrive Friday AM! Well packaged. Great instructions. I watched the installation videos prior to it arriving so I had a basic idea of what I needed to do. It took me about 2 hours with just auto ramps and my 11 year old son. We managed to get the passenger side in first which allows you to avoid removing the exhaust hanger. It is a little tricky but manageable, getting the hitch tucked in to the area between the gas tank and bumper skin with the 2 tabs that are fixed on the frame. All in all looks great and was easy to install thanks to etrailer! It’s my second hitch from them and yet another awesome experience. PS also love the live tracking as it gets packed to shipped and all along the route??

2016 Toyota Sienna

Hitch went on easily in 59 minutes. (Tried to beat the expert time). Had tools set up ahead of time and a friend to help hold in place while fastening. I did not take the bumper piece off, and just slid the hitch up behind it as demonstrated in the video. The stickers Toyota used to protect the weld nuts worked great. There was no rust on the 4 year old sienna(2016) that has been driven through three Minnesota salty winters.

This has been a solid trailer hitch. So far I have used it to attach a bike rack (Yakima FullTilt 4-Bike Premium Locking Hitch Rack) for 2 seasons. I use a cover "plug" during the colder seasons to keep the hitch free of debris. This is installed on a 2015 Toyota Sienna. The reason that I chose this model hitch is that the bar can be mostly hidden underneath the car's underside beneath the factory-installed plastic shield below the Sienna's rear bumper. Other models required that the plastic piece be removed which then exposes the underside to more of the elements and also aesthetically does not look as nice. With this model, it means that the only part that is sticking out of the car is the connection point. The main horizontal support bar is not visible like on other models. I would highly recommend this product.

Just as good as the day we got it. We dont use it too heavily, but at least a dozen times since we got it installed. No complaints. Still rock solid.

I'm glad etrailer.com asked me to review after owning this for a year - that's smart on their part! This hitch has been perfect, sturdy, trustworthy, etc etc. No problems at all and it looks great on the minivan. If I had a complaint, it's my own fault: leaving the hitch on while unloading the trunk is never good for your shins! If I need more trailer related stuff, I'll always check with eTrailer.com first!

- C13343

The hitch is nearly invisible- only the receiver can be seen from the back of the var. The rest of the hitch is hidden high up behind the bumper cover. It was a very easy install. I didn't have to loosen my tailpipe hanger but was able to slide the right side up bracket up to the frame.

2016 Toyota Sienna

Great Hitch and great experience with etrailer (as usual). This hitch took me about 2 hours start to finish to install alone. If I had a second set of hands for 5-10 minutes, I could have installed it in an hour probably. It's a little tricky maneuvering it behind the bumper cover alone, but it can be done. I used a floor jack as a helper. Very nice quality hitch and hardware, and with my recently ordered Toyota OEM Hitch hole plug [online resale], this thing will look like it came installed from the factory. Be advised that since the Sienna sits so low, you'll probably need a 3-4" rise on your ball mount to level your trailer. I've currently got a 2" rise, but I don't think it's going to be enough.

Customer service really helped me out by explaining my options and guiding me to select the best hitch receiver for my vehicle. I knew nothing going into this, but they took their time and educated me. Product shipped as promised, and worked perfectly. Great company.

- C13343

I really appreciate the build quality and fitment of this hitch, and it is a Class III. It is tucked inside the OEM bumper, only the receiver is exposed. The Uhaul ones and other ones shows the hitch frame, which is not my preference. I installed it myself and was so easy. It adds strength to the frame which I like. Thank you.

Great, speedy shipping. I also ordered the Curt exposed hitch from [another company] and it was shipped with no box, was disfigured from shipping, had the shipping labels stuck directly to the front of the hitch tube, and had to be returned. In contrast, the concealed hitch that I ordered from etrailer arrived in a box packaged securely with not a scratch on it. What a contrast! Installation on my 2018 Toyota Sienna was super simple with my 8 year old son and took about 2.5 hours. The videos on etrailers website were extremely helpful since several steps in the directions could be circumvented to save time. I found that you didn't even need to remove the exhaust if you have a long enough socket extension. Also when cutting the plastic shroud to fit around the hitch, I cut the opening even smaller than suggested (I cut 3 inches by 6 inches) and it fits perfectly and looks more finished. Overall couldn't be more pleased with etrailer or the Curt hitch.

  • Least Visible Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Sienna
Of the 2 inch Curt hitches we offer for your 2017 Toyota Sienna the part # C13343 is the one to go with as it has only the hitch opening visible down below the bumper. The instructions do recommend removing the rear fascia to install the hitch. We sometimes find that there can be shortcuts made to install hitches but in general that is not the case. We currently don't have an install video for this hitch yet either.

  • Square Tube Cross Tube Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Toyota Sienna
Since your 2015 Toyota Sienna is only rated for 3,500 lbs of towing you aren't really gaining anything by going with a trailer hitch rated higher than that. Reason is you are only as strong as the weakest component in your towing setup so the extra towing capacity of the hitch is basically a wash. So the square tube Curt hitch part # C13343 that you mentioned being interested in would be a great choice.
