I'm absolutely thrilled with my hitch! Took me about 15 minutes to install with some assistance from my son.
I'm a mechanic. Rarely can you buy any aftermarket products that fit as well as this one!
Worth every penny! I will be buying a brake control box from etrailers very soon.
I pull an 8.5'X 20'car hauler & I needed a hitch for my 2020 Ram 1500 Warlock.
Shipping was fast. No hassles. Instructions were clear. Job was easy to do with no snags. Thank you so much.

etrailer made it easy to find the exact hitch for my vehicle. It came quick and was packaged to perfection. All hardware included and NOTHING was missing! Perfect fitment. Bolted right on. Their website even has "how-to" videos if you were to have any questions during installation! I highly reccommend etrailer

Its a heavy duty trailer hitch, it does what it needs to do and was easy enough to install

2012 Ram 1500

Soooo much better than the factory / dealer installed hitch. I recently had an issue with the factory hitch on my 2012 ram 1500 bending slightly when towing my boat. After some research I discovered it’s just a receiver that slides over the draw bar and has 3 bolts holding it in place. So the weight of towing my 5k - 6k boat was just too much and bent the bracket a little bit. This new hitch that goes directly to the frame is much better!!! Was pretty simple to install, I strapped it to a jack and raised it into place. I would recommend buying 2 more fish wires so you can leave one on every bolt so they don’t fall into the frame. Definitely a must if you plan on towing some bigger loads

by:

Not all the parts were in the box to do this install. Now I lost out on a prepaid weekend of camping because I can't get the hitch installed to leave on Friday night. Also it was supposed to be here on Tuesday but did not show up until Wednesday putting me into a bind.

by:
2017 Ram 1500

Put the hitch on, no problems. Took an hour and a half. The hitch was well engineered and fit in tight spaces and the bolt holes matched up. Used my motorcycle jack to put it in place but lacked about 2" of going high enough so had to get the floor jack out to move it one side at a time enough to get the bolts in.

2018 Ram 1500

Before I installed this tow hitch, I looked at the video and wanted to see how it was mounted. the video looked it would be easy and I wouldn't have any problems, but I did. The tow hitch wasn't aligned right, so I needed to use a hammer to get this into place. I also needed to use a clamp to help bend the tow hitch, but the hole of one did not match correctly. Finally, I needed to use a metal wedge to get it into place. I was so disappointed that this did not go smoothly as the video claimed. I would also recommend that the company submit 4 wires to help keep the bolts from going back into the truck chassis.

This hitch helped my 2019 Ram classic 1500 by adding extra tow weight I tow a 28 foot travel trailer and really should have a 3/4 ton truck but the hitch makes it possible to tow extra weight

2019 Dodge Ram Pickup

Great fit and finish on this Curt Class 5 hitch. Bolted up to my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic no problem and replaced my older Curt Class 3 hitch receiver. Fishing the bolts was a breeze, the hardest thing about the install was doing it by myself. Here's a tip to get the bolts started when working solo: fish the bolts through the frame in the very back of the truck (the ones that go in horizontal) and put some low profile vice grips on each to keep them in place. Lift the hitch into position and slide over bolts. Get the nuts started on each side, then remove the two pairs of vice grips and sink them down a little more. Now the hitch will hold itself in place so you can get started on the remaining bolts. Hope this helps those who are working solo!

2018 Dodge Ram Pickup

I ordered Class V hitch C15572 for my 2018 RAM Sport Night edition 4x4 from etrailer.com. The item was delivered on time and the shipping was free. I watched the suggested installation video and a friend and I got it installed in under an hour.

All the holes lined up perfectly and everything was flush. This hitch is 60+ pounds, so make sure you have extra hands to hold it in place while bolting it up. The only small issue was there were some scratches on the hitch that were covered with brown paper. Not a big deal - it's a hitch!

I would recommend this hitch and eTrailer to anyone. My friend wants to order one for his RAM Truck!

2018 Dodge Ram Pickup

Thank you etrailer for the prompt service and a great price. I ordered the Curt trailer hitch #C15572 for my 2018 Ram 1500 at 9:20 pm Friday night and got a email saying it had shipped at 10:15 pm that same night. Received it on the day (the following Wednesday) they said it would arrive but way earlier in the day. I read a lot of reviews before I ordered and some shipments may have been handled ruff and some people said the hitch was bent and hard to install. My shipment came and the cardboard box had a few small rips but upon inspection the hitch seemed fine. It is pretty heavy and the box seems a little weak for such a item but all hardware is well taped to the hitch and was intact on arrival. On reading the reviews one person mentioned using their floor jack and a slide in receiver for holding the hitch up and since I was going to be installing this myself I tried this out. As you can see in my pictures it works pretty well if you a jack you can bolt it too or clamp it too as in my case. The hitch only needed slight prying to line up the factory M12 bolts in the frame and the fishing wires made the job so much easier with the rest of the bolts. I am now ready to tow with confidence, thanks again for the great service.

Have not towed with it yet but should be a great hitch.

2016 Ram 1500

The hitch is great quality, and easy to install. However, it’s worth noting that on the Ram 1500 Rebel (and maybe other Trim packages as well) the bumper mounts to a bracket welded to the OEM hitch. You will have to salvage those brackets or make new brackets in order to mount the bumper back

by:
2017 Dodge Ram Pickup

The hitch looks great and was completely bolt on for a 2017 Ram 1500. The installation video on the site was a big help.

by:

This product arrived in great shape and on time. I had it installed in about 40 minutes with minimal help from my wife to just hold one side up while I started the two frame bolts. The video on how to put this on is awesome. It will definitely serve its purpose for years to come. Can't beat the prices or the product. Thank you

2015 Ram 1500

Did it myself with help from my S.O. (Denise). As with any "diy" project, the install did not go smoothly but the product was not at fault! My RAM 1500 is 5yrs old & fortunately I've never needed the spare (so the 1st step: removing the spare became a THANG! The cable lock was completely frozen and required a good WD40 soak to free-up. Glad I was in my garage to do this and not stuck on the side of I35!!) As for the hitch it was delivered in 4-days. So far so good!

Great receiver hitch with a great flat color finish! I highly recommend this curt receiver hitch! It also fits great with no drilling required. Install time for me was about 45 minutes was pretty simple with good instructions. Also I highly recommended ordering from etrailer. Great fast free delivery from etrailer. I received my product in 2 days!

by:
2014 Dodge Ram Pickup

I was pleasantly suprised when the reciever was delivered 3 days after ordering. The box was undamaged in contrast to many other reviewers. I was happy that the kit came with 2 fishing wires so that my partner and i were able to work on each side simultaneously. Everything fit perfectly and took about 20 minutes. It actually took longer to retrieve the tools from the truck to drop and lowere the spare tire. Will definatley order more products from Curt and from etrailer.com

by:

Shipping time great, price fantastic. Quality Curt product. It took me longer to drop my spare tire down than it did to install the hitch. About 35mins. I've purchased several thins from etrailer, always 5 stars, thanks.

by:

This is a sturdy hitch. Working alone on my back, it was a real challenge to maneuver it into place and bolted down. There was some trial and error but it took just a few minutes once I found a way around my arthritic shoulder. For once my rather large gut proved to be quite handy.

  • Looking For Installer For Curt C15572 Hitch On 2017 Ram 1500
Hello Andy, thanks for reaching out, and for your recent order. I admit, this is the first I have heard of this issue when installing the Curt # C15572 hitch on a 2017 Ram 1500. • Will 5th Wheel or Bumper Pull Trailer Be Better for 2012 Dodge Ram 1500
With your 2012 Ram 1500 I would definitely steer towards a standard bumper pull trailer. Generally speaking, 1/2 ton trucks just aren't really built to pull a 5th wheel trailer, as they are typically heavier and will put more stress on the rear axle due to their pin weights. The standard towing capacity for your 1500 would require you to limit your choices to only the smallest 5th wheel trailers, while your options would be much more plentiful with standard bumper pull campers.
