2020 Ford F-150

Nice product; handles tongue weight’s that exceed the factory receiver. Super straight forward, easy install.

by:

I thought this would be a replacement of the stock receiver but it is designed to mount underneath the stock receiver which looks terrible and would most certainly reduce the departure angle for off-road use. I didn't install it and had to take a big loss selling it on FB because I waited too long to return it to E-trailer. A better option if your stock receiver is worn out is to buy an aftermarket bumper and a new receiver that will mount in the same place as the stock receiver. Live and learn.

by:

Fast service, went in fast and easy.

by:

The hitch is definitely heavy duty (also heavy) but it hangs about 6" down below the bumper. That would not be a problem except for dragging in rough terrain. The paper instructions were not too good but the video from etrailer cleared it all up.

by:

Arived on time and easy installation. All parts fit with mo adjustments necessary

by:

Product as described. Just like other reviews have said, my box came destroyed too. Saving grace was the hardware was taped very well to the hitch. Good quality.

by:
2021 Ford F-150

Direction are not real clear. Maybe redo them. If possible make the bolts just a tad longer. Other than that great product.

by:

I have only been able to use it once for a hour and 45 minute drive and it was superb.

by:

Love this hitch

by:

Very easy to install! Solid built hitch and American made!!

  • Trailer Hitch Fit for 2019 Ford F150 With Factory Hitch
The Curt # C14021 which we sell as part # C26HR replaces the 14017. For your 2019 Ford F-150 with the factory hitch, the # C26HR is a confirmed fit. The hitch has a 10000 lb towing/1000 lb tongue weight capacity which increases to 12K/1.2K if weight distribution is used. I've linked to the installation instructions for you.

  • Does The Factory Receiver Need Removed On 2018 Ford F-150 To Install Curt # C26HR Class 4 Receiver?
You are correct. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR will mount below the factory hitch on your 2018 Ford F-150. So you will have two 2" receivers on the rear of your F-150 with the curt receiver installed. You are still able to use the factory receiver if needed. I have linked the installation instructions below if you wish to see how the receiver installs.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2018 Ford F-150
For your 2018 Ford F-150 I recommend the Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch # C26HR because of its superior weight ratings, concealed crosstube for a nice OEM appearance, and the fact that it's made right here in the USA. This Class IV hitch features a towing weight capacity of 10,000 pounds and a tongue weight limit of 1,000 pounds. Keep in mind though that you will still need to adhere to the capacities of your F-150 as listed in the owner's manual if they are lower. The design on this particular...

  • How Visible is Curt Hitch # C26HR When Installed on 2020 Ford F-150
I attached a couple pictures that show how well concealed the Curt hitch part # C26HR is when installed on a F-150 like your 2020 model. Basically only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper which allows it to be as hidden as possible! I also attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

  • How Visible is Curt Trailer Hitch When Installed on 2020 Ford F-150
Just the hitch opening of the Curt hitch part # C26HR will hang below the rear bumper of your 2020 Ford F-150 so while it's visible it doesn't stand out. It looks very standard on the back of your truck as most similar trucks have a hitch with roughly the same visibility. I attached a couple pictures that show how visible it is as well. As long as your 2021 Ford F-150 with 6-1/2 foot bed does not include the factory hitch, which your picture shows that you do not, you are good to go with the American made Curt Class IV # C26HR. This will bolt directly to you frame and will offer you 10,000 pounds towing and 1,000 pounds of tongue weight capacity. This jumps to 12,000 pounds and 1,200 pounds respectively when weight distribution is used. However, I do recommend double checking the weight capacity in your owner's manual...

  • Compatibility of Trailer Hitch with 2018 Ford F-150 Max Towing Capacity
Unfortunately there is not a Class V hitch rated for over 12000 lbs towing from any of our manufacturers for your 2018 Ford F-150. The best hitch we currently offer # C26HR is rated for 12,000 lbs and 1200 lbs tongue weight when used with weight distribution and is made by Curt in the USA.
