Fully welded vehicle trailer hitch is strong and durable. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Once I recieved it, i had concerns tha I may have ordered the wrong wirng harness so I called they assured me that I didn't. Went to put it on and the relay was the wrong one so I was unable install it. I called customer service again and sent them pictures of the connections and they assured me that they would follow up with me never heard anything. Disappointing.
Really strong, good quality hitch! I like that it has the electrical mount pre-installed. It is the easiest hitch I have ever installed.
Was delivered quickly. 2022 Nissan Frontier. I thought nuts were missing but realized bolts screwed directly in to the frame after reading included directions. Fit great. Install under 30 minutes. I've purchased several hitches from and always works good.
Thanks!

Still solid. Paint and finish holds up well. All hitches Ive ordered from etrailer install well and look like they are straight from factory.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent order I placed.
On Wed, 26 Jul, I purchased a Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" with order number
Unfortunately, upon receiving the product, I discovered that the trailer hitch arrived in a severely bent condition. I made multiple attempts to install the hitch; however, there is a half-inch misalignment with the holes, and I am unable to manually adjust the hitch to align with the holes on my truck
I was looking forward to receiving a reliable trailer hitch for my vehicle, but the condition in which it arrived has left me deeply unsatisfied and concerned about the quality control process in place at your company.
I kindly request that you send a replacement trailer hitch at your earliest convenience. I expect this replacement to be in perfect, undamaged condition.
I trust that etrailer values its customers and is committed to delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. I hope to see a swift resolution to this matter. Please provide me with a confirmation of when I can expect the replacement trailer hitch to arrive and any tracking information once it is shipped.
I look forward to a timely resolution to this issue and a continued positive relationship with etrailer

In the cases where the hitch is flexed too far we can send out a replacement to you. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.
First the good news: etrailer's service is excellent. Now for the bad news: the hitch did not fit; it was narrow for the truck's mounting holes. Supposedly this is due to "flexing" or damage during shipping; it was not. The hitch receiver and packaging arrived undamaged in any way. My estimation is that in production, warping of the frame occurred during welding. How I finally got this to work was to widen the holes, secure 3 bolts on one side, then raise the receiver with a floor jack in the center to spread it and secure the remaining bolts. The whole process took SEVERAL hours.

What happens is that the hitches are shipped together in large pallets which can and does cause the side brackets to be moved out of alignment. The way that the hitch was installed is one of the ways that we suggest to correct a flexed hitch.
I installed the Draw-Tite class III on my 2014 Nissan Frontier without much problem. Since I did not have a spare set of hands, I used 2 scissors jacks, one at each end of the hitch, to raise the hitch very close to the frame where they would be bolted. I discovered there is some slip play in the hitch bolt holes, so did not tighten any of the bolts until all 6 bolts were threaded part way into the holes. I then tapped the hitch as far back as it would move toward the back bumper and tightened all 6 bolts. It's a good solid fit. I will be using it to help haul an 18 ft kayak and alternately a bike rack. We also have a 26 ft Trailmanor camper.

still have the 2014 Nissan truck and the trailer hitch is working fine. Thanks.
This trailer hitch arrived today ahead of the schedule delivery date - The package was well prepared and not event a torn place on it - I installed this hitch in about 45 minutes and all the Holes were in perfect alignment with the weld nuts on the frame - Totally satisfied with this product and the way etrailer respond to their customers - I will take photos soon and send them to etrailer - Keep up the great customer support - thank you.

I am very satisfied with this trailer hitch - installation was very easy and straight forward - great hitch - Thank You.
All I can say is wow, I ordered the trailer hitch on a Monday late afternoon and got a message right after I got my confirmation email saying it had shipped and was delivered on Wednesday 2 days later I’ve never received anything from any vendor that fast, it was a vehicle specific receiver hitch that took me all of about fifteen minutes to install it fit perfectly, I’m a big fan of etrailer 2 thumbs up
The hitch looked nice, but it it didn’t just bolt on. We had to use C-clamps to make the holes line up, after a few hours we were able to make it work.

It sounds to me like youve received a hitch that has been flexed during shipment. This is common amongst hitches, since the mounting brackets are made from a mild steel that allows the hitch to flex with the vehicle after installation. If the entire hitch was made of rigid steel, there would be a greater chance of the hitch being damaged and experiencing stress cracks. Such cracks could cause the hitch to malfunction. This flexing often times will cause the holes not to align.
Very unhappy, trailer hitch frame was bent so I couldn't install all the screws, going to have to take it to a shop where they may have the expertise and tools to straighten it out

Yeah, it sucks when it arrives bent. But, there is an easy solution to bend it back into place. You will need a vise grip and some effort. I have a link below that will help you through the process, without needing to worry about having a shop take care of it for you.

Got the hitch and wiring harness for my 2018 Nissan Frontier a year ago, my sons installed it as a Fathers day gift, it was easy to install and works awesome. Happy i got it, etrailer made it easy to order and the instructional videos were very helpful.

Still holding up well but showing a little rust.
The Draw-Tite feels very sturdy and installed as expected after reading owner reviews It just took a little finessing, a couple of cuss words and a motorcycle Jack for me to install it by myself.
At the time of this review, it's just been installed, so I haven't had the opportunity to tow with it. First job will be to transport a motorcycle using a car trailer.

I am completely satisfied with the Draw-Tite hitch. Id buy it again.
The holes on the right side do not line up and I was told by Gwen to try bending the receiver to get it to fit even after I asked for a replacement. I feel I shouldn’t have to go through all that to install a hitch on my truck . This must happen a lot because Gwen emailed me instructions on multiple ways to try to bend the hitch into lining up . Very disappointed with etrailer customer services response to my issue

I know this is frustrating, but it is a common occurrence unfortunately. The manufacturer makes receivers out of mild steel to flex over pot holes and curbs. I will attach the help article explaining all of the ways to fix the issue.

Awesome! Needed a slight adjustment to get bolts to line up but still done in 20 minutes.
Fits great, install isn't bad. I had to hammer one end so the bolts would line up because it was dropped and bent slightly by the shipper. I chose this one over the Curt because it's angled out to clear the spare tire rather than just coming straight across. I also bought a little metal tab for $5 to hold the 4-pin connector and the whole setup is very clean.
This is the second hitch and wiring harness I purchased from etrailer. The first one was about 10 years ago for my Windstar, which is still running/towing stong.
Shipping was quick and arrived within a few days. Parts were neatly fastened to the hitch. I installed the hitch during my 1/2 hr lunch break at work. It was a simple job with one snag. The rear bracket bolt holes did not line up on the driverside. I had to hammer the bracket, furthest from the welded tub, outward. Once that was done I tightened and torked, job complete.
I would like to see etrailer encorporate a wiring receiver into the hitch. This would eliminate the ugly hanging on the receiver wire and add to the professionally installed look. This hitch as a small plate on the driver side with pre drilled holes. Perfect for perminatly securing the wiring harness.
Product arrived quickly. Packaging was good; so not even a scratch on the hitch.
The videos on the installation of the hitch and the wiring harness made the job easy.
Took about an hour from start to finish.
As the video notes, You should definitely take the time to clean the the threaded holes on the vehicle with a spray lubricant and a wire brush; then dry fit the bolts. It'll get out all of the grit and rust particles.
Great solid receiver. Easy enough for a girl to install. Perfect fit too. Very happy with this purchase

Still working like a champ! Tightening things up now and then for maintenance and finding out how great things hold together and how solid this product is made.
Got an etrailer twofer here. Just installed a Draw Tite hitch on my 2013 Nissan Frontier. The install went perfectly and took about 45 minutes working alone. Kudos to etrailer for FAST shipping, good products and videos that give a guy the confidence to do the job. We traded our Equinox that had an etrailer hitch on it so I picked up a hitch for our truck. The Hollywood bike carrier I have had for some time is also pictured here (also from etrailer) and I could not be happier with this arrangement for carrying our recumbents.
Damaged in shipping does not fit. Called and emailed pictures of damage. Called left message about wanting new product shipped out.
My 2008 Nissan Frontier.
Turns out it didn’t have the trailer tow package but I was able to purchase the relay harness from my Nissan dealer. It also included the trailer wiring harness that not only fit the vehicle frame but connected perfectly with the mounting plate on the new hitch.
Bought the DrawTite bolt on hitch kit. It had a slight bend on the passenger side which required me to use a small block of wood between the hitch and the rear bumper to prevent it from slipping while I used a light tug on a small crowbar to move the bracket into place directly over the mounting holes. Once I got the four corner bolts in it was a snap after that. I took these photos with the truck up on a pair of ramps while I was installing the tow package relays and the trailer wiring harness a few days after I installed the hitch.
Photo 1: A rear view of the mounted hitch. Nice clean lines, doesn’t hang too low or stick out too far in back. A perfect fit!
Photo 2: Another angle of the hitch. The receiver is in place while the rest of the hitch is barely visible below the chassis.
Photo 3: From beneath. The reason I ordered the DrawTite hitch is the drawbar goes completely through the mounting brackets rather than simply welded to the sides. The six mounting bolts are snug up under the frame and the tab on the driver side is perfect for mounting the wiring harness/plug.
Photo 4: The wiring harness that came with the tow package relay harness attaches directly to the drawbar perfectly. Rather than using the two 10mm hex head screw/bolts that came with the kit I attached the wiring bracket to the drawbar plate with two 7/16” x ½” coarse thread screws with washers and lock washers that I had on hand in the workshop.
Installed in about a hour. 6 bolts. If u can change your oil, u can install a trailer hitch! The bolt over the exhaust pipe was the toughest. I used my leg and foot to get it better lined up and my son screwed it in. Torqued the bolts, done.
I just finished put on my trailer hitch and it fit good. Thank you. now I need to get a wire to hook uo light'
This review should be broken into 2 parts. First off the buying/shipping experience with etrailer was fine. The price was acceptable, the shipping was timely. etrailer did their job satisfactory. Secondly though this draw-tite hitch for my Nissan Frontier like many other reviews have expressed arrived warped and required "assistance" to line up with the factory mounting location. Not a huge deal but let's be serious for a moment. The hitch is made in Mexico from 3/16" mild steel and it's rated for a maximum capacity of 8,000 lbs (with a load leveling coupler) the truck isn't rated for that much weight so don't expect me to believe it got warped on a UPS truck. It's the manufacturer using robotic welders with interchangeable fixtures for various models these "jigs" are apparently not inspected or have to much play in them to produce a consistent product 100% of the time. The center line of the hitch is not in line with the center line of my truck, no big deal you'll never notice 1/8" of cant when pulling a trailer if we're being real you're trailer axle probably is off more than that anyways it could finally pull straight for a change. I'm not mad about it I'm not gonna ask for etrailer to fix anything and I'd do business with them again but it is worth noting that a pry bar or porta-power may be necessary for installation.
Product arrived in good condition and all parts were present.
I used a floor jack to raise the hitch into position and maneuver it while doing so as I worked alone. The instructions included were minimal but did provide the proper torque for the bolts. The online installation videos were _very_ helpful. I also was helped by a tip from a reviewer in one of the comments to use a clamp to align the bolt holes with the weldnuts because the final hole was just a fraction of an inch off from allowing the bolt to thread in easily. Installing the hitch portion took about 45 minutes for me but I took my time.
