Excellent factory match on 2007 Silverado. Only mod was to cut off the old harness mount and screw it onto the new hitch. Great product good value.

Good price and a good solution for our customer, who had a hitch that collected salt water from hauling a boat and rusted out. The truck was okay. This hitch is less likely to collect moisture and will be used to pull a travel trailer so it will be a great solution.

Replaced a worn out factory hitch on a 2012 Silverado 1500. Already had the old one off and in the scrap yard before this one arrived. Took about 15 to install. No need to use a jack or lifts, just lay on the ground and bolt it on. Only time will tell how well it holds up.
Would have given it 5 stars but the order was placed Friday night and even though it was in stock it didn't ship until Wednesday.
Including photos of new install and old one.

Excellent customer service,my first order with etrailer,what a pleasure, delivery was spot on,product seems great,haven't actually pulled a trailer yet,in my case it is a replacement,had the old one off already upon delivery,22 minutes to install from off the delivery truck,to clean up,perfect fit as promised,I say it went on without a hitch!!!! personally I would have liked to see the bracket mount plate doubled,would just seem stronger to me,posted is the old one maybe you can see what I mean,but I have zero I'll remarks,like a kid in a candy store,can't wait tu actually use it,I did the install the moment the delivery came up the driveway

Took 20 minutes to put on. You will need a 22mm deep socket, 3/4 deep socket, 21mm deep socket, and a torque wrench. I use a 3 ton floor Jack to hold one side in place while I lined up the holes bolted right up. Shipping was very fast to. Lake day tomorrow

2007 Chevrolet Silverado
Item arrived with no visual problems and all the hardware. Instructions were easy to follow and easy to install. I installed it by my self in about 1 hour. All the mounting holes lined up with no problems to be found. The hitch will be used for med to light cargo trailer hauling and a cargo carrier. This hitch replaces one which rotted off on my 2007 Silverado which I have included a pic.

Product seems to be built well but the installation holes was slightly off made it difficult to install. I had to use a rachet strap to get it in to place every thing lined up except one hole had to make it bigger

1999 GMC Sierra
This is my second hitch in less than a year, The first one broke loose at the weld. I am hoping it was just a bad weld and the new one will be better. The hitch mounts very easy and is a perfect it, that is the only reason I decided to try another one.

Seems to be stronger than oem, bolts up same way. Only knock which is a big one to me is the receiver is welded in canted. Does this make a difference on how it works? Probably not, but not oem quality control. What does one do, bolt in the part and afterwards see it's wonky. Obvious disappointment.

The square hole was sized small, barely got the hitch in with a sledge hammer. Don't know how I'll ever get it out.

This is a well-made hitch. Installation was easy. A second pair of hands to get the first couple of bolts in would be handy. Your only hassle is to remove the old 10-year-old rusted though hitch off the truck. I only had hand tools.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado
This hitch is an excellent value. It feels very beefy and well made. The steel is much larger and thicker than the OEM receiver that came off my 2005 Silverado due to corrosion. I really like that this hitch utilizes all 8 of the factory mounting holes, unlike some of the others which only utilize 4 or 6 of them. New hardware was provided, along with small plates to go inside the frame rail to better distribute the weight along the truck's frame. The bracket for the 7 pin plug is a nice extra too.

It bolted right up to the frame, everything lined up correctly and it's working great. Using a lift and air tools it took about 1/2 an hour to remove the old and install the new.

After discovering original hitch was rusted with holes in it, I went on a search for a new hitch. etrailers website was super easy to navigate, and found many hitches that fit my truck. Ordering, shipping and installation was a breeze. Would order from again if need arises.

I purchased this to replace the factory hitch which had rusted out. It was very easy to install, probably an hour to remove the old one and install the new. Fits around the spare tire perfectly and is flush with the bumper.

You'll want to check your owners manual with the engine size info of the truck handy to determine how much you can tow. Or you could contact a Chevy dealer.
