Shipping was spot on, no missing parts, everything lined up perfect for my 2015 Nissan Murano platinum. Order the wire brush if you don't have one! eTrailers video on how to install was perfect. I'd recommend spending $8 on some quality rust remover spray as my threads were pretty bad. Would definitely recommend!
Jarret - 03/27/2022About 20 minutes to install. Everything lined up no install issues. The only issue I had was the packing, the box was open and the hitch was not secured (photo provided). There was some scratches which I touched up. Overall very satisfied.
I ordered this hitch for my 2019 Murano. The holes under the body we’re pre drilled so no need to drill any holes. All the hardware came with the hitch and was very simple to install. It took longer to find a 1/2 inch drive socket and extension in my toolbox than it did to actually install it. With the help of my 11 years old we got it installed less than 15 mins. Great product shipping was fast and customer service was above my expectations. Thank you for the great product and I’ll be doing business in the future. I can’t thank you enough.
Harold - 08/13/2021The hitch is great quality and relatively easy to install with two people. One person needs to hold it in place while the other bolts it on with 5 bolts. It seems very solid. I was disappointed that it came damaged in numerous places because the box was obviously not handled well by UPS. The original paint was scraped off and I believe could have been avoided had they wrapped it first in bubble wrap. To avoid having to send it back at my expense, I accepted a $10 credit to buy spray paint. Way to make your problem mine and sell it as you doing me a favor (then you’ll have the paint for touch-up in future years).

ecently I purchased a hitch for a 2020 Ford Escape, slight modifications were required to the subframe to "fish" bolts through. The installation of this hitch to the 2021 Murano was MUCH easier, as the "nuts" were already in place and you just needed to put the bolts in & tighten!
Watched etrailer videos before deciding which hitch to go with. Although the car is only rated for 1,500#, this one has both higher weight and tow capacities... all of them were basically the same price, so easy decision.
Same with the "T" wiring harness... well thought out EASY to install!
I purchased a hitch and wiring harness for my 2015 Murano. The harness was so simple to install and incredibly cost effective, truly plug and play. The Draw Tite hitch is well designed and looks great on the vehicle.
The only problem I had was due to a four year old vehicle that has gone through as many winters with salt on the road. The factory weld nuts were closing up with rust scale. I used 30 caliber gun bore brushes on a drill to clean the scale along with WD40, l went through eighth of them. Once that was done I slathered white lithium grease in and on everything and the install was truly 15 minutes after that.
I will recommend etrailer to anyone who will listen, great products at even better price with free shipping.
If you installing a hitch on a vehicle that has been through the rust belt be a realist and be prepared to spend a little time prepping.

Extremely durable, took me about 30 minutes to install. I tow roughly 1,500 lbs load for about 2 hours ( 1 hour uphill, 1 hour downhill ) on almost a weekly basis with 0 concerns so far. My wife hit the ground with the hitch a couple of times when I left it on. I conducted a crack check using dye penetrant and developer, luckily no cracks were found and no loss of torque.
Perfect fit , only tools listed needed for install. My main uses will be for cycle rack
& all works well so far. Only one compliant , this hitch will not allow my lift gate kick feature to function. Early on I asked the question would it interfere , and was told all should be good, this information came from a representative from Draw-Tite I believe. Other than my issue with lift gate I would recommend this hitch & etrailer for future purchases.

Mike L - 05/16/2018Good quality construction. Easy installation, maybe 20 minutes. Package was tore up and hitch had scratches on it so could have been packaged with more protective wrap. Overall very happy and satisfied with hitch, will mainly use it for bicycle rack.

From the get-go I was skeptical about buying a hitch online but etrailer.com did a fantastic job getting the hitch delivered in just under 4 days. Not bad for a heavy piece of metal. Got the hitch and wiring harness installed today. Honestly I'm kinda diggin' the fact that it isn't as hidden as my 2013 Mo hitch was. I kinda like the look of it (minus all the stickers) of course but I will be removing those post haste (sorry e-trailer). Maybe if you give me 100.00 store credit I will think about advertising for you. Any way, all in all I'm very pleased with the hardware and the service I received from e.trailers.com
It may be my safety chains on my trailer, but because the hookups on the receiver are flat they have to be twisted up and down to clip on since the ends of the chain hooks have clips to keep from coming off accidentally. Other than that the receiver meet my expectations and would purchase again if I needed another one.
Great Hitch. I like the Low Profile. 1-10 on Installation Scale, I give it a 3. It was fairly easy. How ever minus the Hitch, installing the Wiring Harness using a Flat 4-wire Harness might require some patience on the Dodge Ram Pro Master City.
Received as scheduled. Unpacked it, was in excellent condition. Installed alone in 15 minutes. Placed the left side of the hitch on a gallon paint can to bring it up close to the frame, seated the right side of the hitch to the frame, and installed the two bolts..loosely. Then installed the left side (3 hole). Went back and tightened all the bolts to spec. Looks great, ready to install bike rack. Highly recommend. Great service, great product, fits perfectly.
The package came in the middle of the week and I have to wait until the weekend for me to install it. Since I only have 8,000 miles on my 2015 Murano I, don't really have to use the cleaning brush that I ordered. The thread was in prestine condition as you can see it on the pictures I sent. The install was a breeze and as you can see I added a stepper and used the secure pin that I acquired from you guys too. So, happy about this product and it is just as I imagined it. Super Easy install and instructions were spot on. Instructional videos are very thorough. I absolutely advise you take the time to make sure the threads are clean as suggested in the video. This will make starting the bolts much easier. The passenger side is a bit tight with regard to maneuvering the hitch into place. Can't believe some of the quotes I got from local retailers to install (with all respect to their expertise and business acumen).
Very solid. Easy installation. Instructions and videos on this site made it easy. Doing it myself laying under the car, I used a 1 gallon paint can to hold up one side while I started the bolts on the other side. Worked pretty good. The packaging could use more support on the corners where the mounting plates are. Both ends were sticking out of the box when I got it.
With the help of my neighbor, it took only 10 minutes to install this hitch on our 2016 Nissan Murano.
A true "bolt on".
Will be used for a bicycle carrier and I know it is overkill.
Also, you just never know when you might need to tow a trailer and I wanted a hitch I could feel confident with.
Happy with my purchase of the Draw-Tite hitch for my 2017 Nissan Murano. Installed by myself which was a bit of a chore as it is pretty heavy but still took only 30 minutes. Would have only taken 15 minutes if I had a helper. Three bolts with washers one side and two bolts with washers on the other side. Bolt torque of
75ft-lbs was a bit of a struggle for this old man but we got er done. Highly recommend etrailer.com "Great Price" and 2-day delivery and were also very helpful with bike rack recommendations. Will definitely use again.
I bought this Hitch for my Nissan Murano and it bolted right up with no drilling or modifying. I did lose a bolt after the first long trip that I used it so I would definitely use a thread lock to prevent this from happening. It has been a great product and the shipping was fast and easy from etrailer.com!
Jenny N - 11/04/2021this receiver hitch is well made and heavy duty. Ordered 1 day UPS dropped it off 3 days later. Taken more time to remove the 1 1/4 hitch than installing the 2 inch draw-tite hitch. Looks good fits good. I'm glad I found etrailer.com they were quick and had a very good price. The reason for 4 stars there where no tabs to secure the lower portion of plastic bumper. I'll figure that out later. If there was a way to give 4 1/2 stars I would give that. Things also needed is a 22" long torque wrench 1/2 in. drive and a can of black spray paint and thread lock ( blue ). I'm a 76 year old man and had to lay on my back to install the hitch. Not bad if I say so my self. thank you etrailer
Hard to ship a heavy item and have it not puncture through the box. This one lost a little paint on the way but was easy enough to touch up. I didn't care for the placement of the brand label, etrailer label and data lable. (Only the brand label was straight.) So I relocated them (easy enough). Installation was straight forward. While I didn't have to drop the muffler, I found that it was easier to start with the passenger side mount. Looking at the finished installation, I feel it would look more finished if it hugged up closer to the bottom of the bumper. All in all, it is a good value.
Jesse - 02/24/2020Parts all fit and we’re great. Installation of the light kit went perfectly. Video great!! Installation of hitch took 3 days. You should include in the video an explanation or warning about rust which prevents the bolts from insertion. Finally used a lot of WD-40 and a dremel tool and 1/2 inch wire brush. I almost gave up several times because of difficulty and cross threading. Perseverance pays. After that, installation was easy, 10 minutes. Please pass along.
