Hidden Cross Tube for a Clean, Factory Look

Overall very happy with my purchase. Receiver is very high quality and the fit is very good. A few things I would note:
A. Would highly recommend having an impact for getting the crash bar off. I was able to remove it with a socket/breaker bar, but it was extremely difficult.
B. If you ever plan on towing, it is significantly easier to add the trailer wiring while the bumper is off.
C. You will need to trim the bumper to clear the receiver. I didn’t see that called out in the description (it is called for in the instructions), but you will have to cut a small section out of the underside of the bumper.
Again, very good product and am very satisfied!

Great quality, hidden stock look. Installation was pretty easy with two people. I was able to skip jacking the car up and not having to drop the exhaust having the help of another person and positioning it in at just the right angle. There's a bottom lip on the rear that has to be cut and you have to cut past that into the actual bumper a little. Highly recommend.

This was easy to install and provides a very solid hitch mount. Just take off the bumper, remove some bolts, mount the hitch and replace the bumper. Seemless! I like that it’s nearly invisible. I use it to hold bikes for a bike rack, but I’m sure I could haul a small trailer with it as well.

It was easy to find right part, easy to order, and the hitch receiver was delivered very fast. I’m reasonably handy with tools. It took me a little over 2 hours to install and I was not trying to race the clock. In addition to common tools (flat & phillips head screwdrivers, and 8, 10, & 17 mm sockets), i also needed a breaker bar to loosen one of the nuts on the car’s “impact bar” (metal bumper). You might save some time if you skip adding the little piece of trim where you cut the notch in the plastic bumper. It took me a while to get it to fit right and after reinstalling the bumper it is barely visible. If you skip the trim, be sure to cut the notch as clean as possible. A Dremel worked pretty well for me.

Installation was a breeze for this hitch. Followed the provided instructions along with the watching the company's video and was done in about an hour and a half. Everything seems sturdy and solid so can't wait to see how it works in the future.

2017 Mazda 3
Very pleased with the etrailer hitch for my Mazda 3. It fits up inside the rear bumper shroud, only part that shows is the receiver.
Works well with the Mazda low profile design.
I’m not an auto mechanic and have limited tools but i can figure things out and not afraid to bust a knuckle. I installed the etrailer start to finish in 1 hour (watched video a couple of times and followed directions step by step).

Great hitch! Looks stock with the car and fits heftier equipment like my Kuat bike rack. Easy to install as long as you follow the instructions and have a little time/patience.

This hitch looks extremely strong and well finished. Probably overkill For the bike rack I will be using it for. Installation was not as bad as expected. The hardest part to me was pulling the tail lights loose from retaining clips. Finished product looks inconspicuous and seems to have an upward tilt.

Cost effective and extremely simple installation process, fitted perfectly for my vehicle. Slight issue with the cover plate for the rear bumper being pushed out from it's intended housing, but the end result is that the hitch is better hidden. Highly recommend for Mazda 3 Hatch owners, especially if you're hoping for just a little more room on a long trip- Hitch baskets work with this hitch quite well.
