With 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

If you're really just interested in doing dome heavy-duty towing, add on the TorkLift Everest weight distribution system (TLWD100 - sold separately), which is designed exclusively for SuperHitch hitches, and you can max out the 17,000-lb weight capacity of the hitch.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender typically dramatically reduces your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck-bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

2006 Dodge Ram Pickup

The hitch came in 2 boxes. There were no missing parts. I installed it using the 1 person instructions. The written instructions are good, the pictures are terrible. I would suggest watching the u-tube video before starting.
I took off the custom bumper, this made it much easier to install with everything wide open. Because I literally ripped off the factory bolted on unit, repairs needed to be made. This meant that the entire job took the entire weekend. I do not think This hitch will be easy to tear off the back of the truck considering it has 3 times the fasteners of the factory hitch. It looks good with the custom bumper as well.

Yes, it has been a year. Absolutely no issues. It has handled everything I have to tow with ease. I am pleased that the finish is still holding strong. The only NOT important issue is that I have a tendency to hit things with the lower of the 2 receivers when backing into parking spots. For me, the hitch was worth the investment.

Love it. Now I need to make my truck a dually. Camper and trailer over load the rear tires

Bought this for my Dodge Ram 2500 to pull 25’ boat to show in TN last year and have my truck camper on my truck. Worked way better than I expected. Also bought wiring harness. Very pleased.

I am grateful for the help I received with my order and that the items came so quickly. Now I just have to wait for the outside temperature to warm up a little so I can get them installed. Thank you!!

2011 Dodge Ram Pickup

This hitch fit my 2011 Ram 3500 fine. The original hitch had been removed to facilitate adding a Ranch Hand rear bumper. I am 64 yrs and was able to mount by myself using the one man mount instructions. It cleared the bumper fine and bolted up to my frame. I drilled 2 holes in the bumper bracket to mount the front straps because they didn't match up with anything.
I had previously mounted a Helwig swaybar and had to remove the frame mounts for it, and once the hitch was on the Helwig bolted up to it very nicely, a cleaner install.
The spare tire is a bear to get up in there now because of all the stuff around it now, but doable. I hadnt heard of Torklift until recently and am a fan of their products now!

Had a little problem and you guys took care of it big time. That you do much.. Alex is the man if you have a problem ask for Alex and he will take care of you. He’s the man !!!!

Ask the Experts about this TorkLift Trailer Hitch

  • What Size are Hitch Openings of the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1101
The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1101 that you referenced has two 2 inch hitch openings stacked on top of each other. It is in the Class V category that includes 2-1/2 inch and high capacity 2 inch hitches. I apologize for the confusion there.

  • Replacing the Factory Hitch on a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 with a TorkLift Hitch
You may not be able to remove the factory hitch on your 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. Check to see if it is welded on or bolted on. If it is welded on then you would need to use a hitch that keeps the factory hitch in place such as # TLD1102. The receiver angling downward could mean that it will need some persuading in order for the new hitch to fit. If it bolts on then make sure that the mounting locations are not compromised and go with # TLD1101 after removing the old hitch.

  • Which Torklift Hitch Fits 2006 Dodge Ram with Factory Hitch that is Bolted On
Since your factory hitch is bolted on and not welded on the correct Torklift hitch is the # TLD1101 and not the part # TLD1102 that you mentioned. There is no safe way I can recommend installing the TLD1102 on your truck since you have the bolted on hitch.

Workhorse is not affiliated with Ford though they were at one time related to GM and are now part of AMP. Regardless of who controls the Workhorse chassis division there are only universal type trailer hitches for them but no custom ones. The most versatile RV hitch is # 13703 which fits frame widths from 22 inches to 72 inches outside to outside. It fits box, C-channel, and I-Beam frames and it can be bolted or welded on (welding should be done by a professional welder). If you are...

  • What Is the Correct TorkLift SuperHitch for a 2012 Ram 3500 with Factory 2 Inch Hitch
The correct TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver for your 2012 Ram 3500 is part # TLD1102. I am not sure where you are seeing that you need a 2-1/2" opening on top and then a 2" opening on bottom but all of the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extensions like part # TLE1536 require a 2" opening on top and bottom so that is not correct. I have attached the different lengths offered for you as well.

  • Is 24 Inch Extension Available for Class IV 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2008 Dodge Ram 3500
The longest hitch extender that is available for the Class IV 2 inch hitch on your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 is going to be an 18 inch like part # C45796. Please keep in mind that using a hitch extension is going to reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 50 percent. For a 24 inch extension your Ram would have to be equipped with a Torklift Hitch, # TLD1102-30 for Ram with factory hitch or # TLD1101 for Ram without factory hitch. You could then use # TLE1524 for the extender.
