Removed the 2 tow brackets and pulled a rubber plug from the third bolt hole and it bolted right in. Took 5 minutes with impact and second guy. It goes around the exhaust bracket and fits nicely
For an open box item, youd think it was brand new! Came with all the hardware and I installed it in about 10-15 minutes. Torque specs were included with directions as well. A great purchase, Im very happy. Thank you!

High quality hitch and super easy bolt-up installation on my 2008 Lexus RX350.
Well I'll start with this. I ordered one trailer hitch for one car. I spoke with a representative on the phone and ordered it to him so I could avoid any mistakes on the internet.. even though I talk to a live person and they confirmed the one order.. they shipped me three and charge my credit card and additional $[XX]. And now I'm out $[XX] because I have to wait for their process in returning money which could be a while.. they were able to take my money real fast now I'm unable to get my money back which I need I'm out $[XX] and I have other bills to pay. So even though I ordered it with the live person it still got screwed up.. so that's why the poor review.

I only ordered one and it's clear that I ordered one yet I was still shipped two extra and now they charge my credit card $[XX] and now I have to wait for them to do their process but they were real quick and taken their money when I ordered it now I'm out $[XX] and I have to pay some bills and who knows how long it's going to take to get my money back in all the trouble I have to go through.. but you're able to check up on me with the review but not check up on me with the order
. That's why the bad review no communication.

This hitch went on exactly as shown in the video specifically for my car. I’ve been using it with absolutely no trouble and it’s hardly noticeable. The eTrailer team and the receiver far exceeded my expectations! I’d had reservations about lower fuel economy, appearance, difficulty and expense. However my brother’s great experience with eTrailers for one of his vehicles encouraged me and I’m very glad I did. My experience was great as well. My fuel economy has decreased less than one percent, the appearance is unobtrusive and the price was very reasonable. As to the difficulty, my wonderful brother put it on using two floor jacks and made it look easy. He said it was exactly right for my car’s bolt spacing.
All the bolts lined up perfectly. Just had to remove the left and right tow hooks before installing the hitch on my 2005 Highlander. The installation video was excellent. The hitch arrived without any damage. Will enjoy using it to carry two ebikes without any problem.

Dealing with etrailer was awesome from start to finish, would definitely recommend. We had questions about what hitch to put on our old highlander and etrailer was prompt at getting back to us on the old school phone to talk us through ordering everything we needed. The hitch arrived promptly and looks great and we were advised on all the correct lighting package to go along with it.
The bolts are not the correct size, they are too small for the factory holes. It appears that the tow bar holes do not match up either.
This does not seem to be the correct tow bar for my vehicle.
Brooke M - 11/01/2022When I first opened the box and saw how sturdy and heavy this received was, I thought maybe I was in over my head doing the install myself. However, I was able to easily balance the receiver on a spare tire/wheel I laid on the ground in the middle/back of my vehicle. That allowed me to easily lift the unit high enough t get a bolt started the muffler side, then it was a simple matter of installing the rest of the bolts, it took me no more than 20 minutes, including removal of the old tie-down brackets. I towed with it today, everything is great. I also learned that my 2007 Lexus RX350 came pre-wired for a trailer, all I had to do was tear off some interior trim, the wires were clearly visible, I cut off the proprietary connectors and sliced in a 4-wire cable. I'm not sure if they call come this way.
Installation was straightforward. Paint has held up well after one midwest winter.

Easy set up for DIYers, just follow the instructions/video! I was by myself so installing it I used a floor jack to lift the hitch up to where it was supposed to mount.
All bolt holes lined up. Easy installation. Appear to be well made.

Installation took about 20 min
First delivery was not to spec dimensions. Sent it back after several calls they shipped a new unit quickly that worked. The frame seems heavier than my non-trailering needs.
This hitch is very well built and everything about it indicates it is strong. The installation is simple, rugged, and straight forward. It took longer to clean the existing threads with a tap than to install the hitch, it is that easy to put on. You could spend more money but will not get a better hitch.
