Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Dexter Never-Lube Trailer Hub. This trailer hub is designed to work with an 8,000 pound axle. It's a cast-iron construction, which provides strength and durability, and it has an eco finish to protect against corrosion and wear. And it comes with the studs already installed and pressed in. Comes with all the necessary bearings, seals, races, lug nuts, dust cap, and of course, the trailer hub. The never-lube bearings come pre-lubricated and pre-installed.
The steel bearings include seals and inner and outer races, so there's no need to replace the seal when checking brakes, and there's no need to lubricate the bearings. It's already lubed and ready to go. The product is made in the USA, it does fit a never-lube axle, with a capacity of 8,000 pounds. It will fit wheel sizes of 16 inches, 16 1/2 inches, and 17 inches. The bolt pattern on this unit is eight on six and a half inches, and the wheel bolt diameter is nine sixteenths of an inch.
The pilot diameter, that's measured from this edge here to this edge here, four and three quarter inches. And the bearing cartridge, basically this opening right here is 50 millimeters, or 1.968 inches. Now please note that a sticker did come on the unit right here, caution sticker that says, "Use only zero offset to .19 inch inset wheels. And again, it does come with the never-lube dust cap, goes over the edge here and taps into place. And then lug nuts to hold the wheel securely to the trailer hub. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Dexter Never-Lube Trailer Hub.

Lubricated, sealed bearings minimize maintenance. 9/16" Wheel studs and grease cap included. With so many Never Lube bearing failures I bought this to carry as a spare. I'm confident it will fit and work well if I ever need it. Buying from Etrailer is always easy. Free delivery got here in about a week.
Purchased the hub as a spare as we are traveleing to Mexico. The service from E-trailer was fantastic with quick delivery and excellent knowledge of the product when ordered.
Great service, quick shipping, and the right parts! Good job, e-trailer! Just give folks a break on those overnight shipping costs for roadside emergencies!
Purchased these hubs to maintain the fifth wheel and they arrived three days earlier than expected. I had to replace one while traveling to Alaska this summer and there was a definite increase in the quality of the item I purchased. E-trailer item was less expensive and had a much better finish of the casting material. Josh was excellent to work with and confirmed I was getting the correct item for the best price. E-trailer is always the best to work with!
Great fit as always ,
