The inner bearing race was not seated in the hub. I did not notice it until the spindle nut would not turn passed the cotter pin hole. I had to take apart and finish pressing in the bearing race. For some reason I am not able to upload a picture.

  • Replacement Hub-and-Rotor Assembly for 2000 640 Ranger Boat Trailer With Tandem Axles
In order to find if the Dexter 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # K08-435-05 will fit your 2000 620 Ranger boat trailer you will need some additional information. This assembly is designed to fit a 3,500 lb axle with the standard # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearings. I recommend checking your axle tag/bearings to see if this will fit. The axle tag should have the capacity. It is also likely this has a serial number which could be used to identify the axle and the bearings it uses. If you...

  • Are There Pre-Greased Versions Of The Dexter 008-435-05 Hub/Rotor
Hi Wendell, We do offer compatible replacement hub/rotors for your Dexter 008-435-05 but they unfortunately do not come pre-greased. I recommend picking up the # K08-435-05 as well as bearings # L68149 and # L44649, and grease seal # RG06-050 to pre-pack the hub yourself with some lube # L11380 before the trip. To prevent the bearings from falling out or any dirt/debris from getting inside the hub you can put two layers of plastic wrap over the holes and rubber band them down.

  • Replacement Hub for ShoreLand'r SLR31BLW
Hi Steve; based on my research it looks like you have a 3,500 lb axle and it came with a hub/rotor for UFP disk brakes. We don't have an exact parts list so I recommend verifying this information to be sure. You can check your axle tag for a serial number or pull your hubs and bearings to identify them. Assuming that is correct, you can use the Dexter 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # K08-435-05 you were looking at as a replacement. You will also need the # BK2-100 bearing kit. I have attached...

The bearings # L68149 and # L44649 being identical on the Dexter Hub and Rotor # K08-435-05 is a great start! The other thing that you will need to determine is if the seal is the same as well. The correct seal can be found with part # RG06-050 and has an Inner Diameter of 1.719 inches and an Outer Diameter of 2.565 inches. • Replacement Brake Hub/Rotors UFP 9.75 rotors with 10 demaxx ?
We don't carry Demaxx products, so I couldn't say if they'd be compatible replacements. We do carry some 10 inch hub/rotors from Dexter and Kodak, both of which are for a 3500 lb axle and use an L44649 outer/L68149 inner bearing. The Dexter # K08-435-05 measures 9.75 inches in diameter, so if the bearings your existing rotor uses are compatible with the L44649/L68149 they'll work for you.

Although both of those fall under a 10" hub and rotor assembly, it sounds like you do not have DeeMaxx on there right now. In general the disc brake parts cannot be interchanged. It also includes a oil seal to use in place of a Grease Seal # RG06-050 to keep the oil in the hub.
