Hub is made for use on trailer idler axles. Fits 2K E-Z Lube and Easy Grease axles with BTR spindles. Inner bearing (L44649) and race, outer bearing (L44649) and race, grease seal, grease cap, and lug nuts included. Fits 13" to 15" wheels.

The grease cap on this hub is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube or etrailer Easy Grease axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Purchased for a spare hub assembly to carry in vehicle for possible bearing or seal failure during fishing trips. Much easier to get back on road versus seal and bearings replacement on road.
With the excellent help of Claire on the phone I received my set of trailer complete spare hubs for my cross-country trip. The only reason for not rating as excellent as I won't know fit until i need the spares.
You need to add a new cotter pin and the washer that goes behind the castle nut to these kits.
I got the hubs but they do not fit. So, I’m pretty upset because now I have to wait another three weeks and will have to pay to send them back
Product was a great fit, easy to install if you know what you are doing. Took only 10 minutes to repack bearings and assemble.

Though supply chain issues slowed down my original order, etrailer found a suitable substitute, and even saved me some money in the process. I don’t do a lot of work on trailers, but when I do, I know where I’ll be getting my parts.
Used an axle conversion kit to ‘flip’ the axle on my ‘08 Forrest River pop up and give it a lift. Put on the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub for 2K Axles - 13" to 15" Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 - Pre-Greased from etrailer, then switched the 12” stock tires to Contender ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C to lift it a little more while also putting a sturdier tire on. Works great!

The hubs arrived in a timely manner and were well packaged. Etrailer was great when I contacted them with installation questions. Hubs have been installed for about a year and are working perfectly.
Received parts yesterday and everything arrived in excellent condition. Without etrailer's helpful guides it would have taken a lot longer to identify the correct Hub's and bearing's that I needed for my jet ski trailer. I always go to etrailer for my trailer needs!!!! I have a jet ski trailer, boat trailer, and 36.5 foot 5th wheel camper. So I'm always needing parts!!!
We pack the bearings in these hubs and carry them along for spare, ready to install on the trailer if bearing goes bad while on the road. We use these trailers for trips from northern Indiana to south florida, than to Iowa. Then back to Indiana. So its a lot faster to just change the whole hub when you have trouble.

Great price, good quality. This is the same hube as AKIHUB-545-2-2k, but NOT pre-assembled and pre-greased. Perfect if you want to do this work yourself or need to do work on the hubs prior to usage.
Excellent kit. Simply take off old hub and slide the new hub on. Comes pre-packed with what appears to be Lubrimax (green) marine grease.
