Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Bulldog round weld on jack. This is a manual side wind jack. It's going to have a lift capacity of 2000 pounds and a static capacity of 3000 pounds.I'm going to give you a few measurements here to help you decide if this is going to be the right jack for you. So you can see our mounting bracket here on the back from the center of that bracket down to the bottom of our foot.
When it's retracted like it is now, it's going to be 14 and a half inches. When you have this extended all the way up, it's going to measure 29 and a half inches. Again from the center of that bracket down to the base, so that's going to give you 15 inches of lift, which should be more than enough for most of your applications.It's got the tubular swivel design, so it's going to let you mount weld your weld plate onto your trailer. And then obviously since mine's not welded on, the bracket's going to swivel, but once you have this welded on, your jack will swivel up so it can go up for travel and then down for when you need to use it. It's going to include the half inch pull pen.
You can see it's going to lock it in place so that our jack can stays where we need it to be. From the center, again of our mounting bracket to the top of our jack, it's going to be 12 and three-sixteenths of an inch. It's going to give us our clearance.One thing I really like is the side wind handle. It's going to be very smooth, very easy to crank our jack up and down. It's not going to take much effort at all.
The handle radius, it's right about six inches. And this is a very dependable jack, it's recognized as the industry standard for your agricultural and commercial applications. It's ASABE compliant.Your outer tube here is painted gray. It's got a diameter of two and nine-thirty seconds of an inch or just under two and a quarter of an inch. Your inner tube is zinc plated, so it's going to reduce the risk of rust and corrosion, and the inner tube diameter is two inches.
Here on the top you can see we've got our zerk or grease fitting to help lube the internal components, keep those in good condition, and this jack does come with a five year warranty from Bulldog. That's going to complete our look at the Bulldog round weld on jack.

I was worried that the snap ring and pivot point was going to be a different diameter since I was replacing the jack on an existing welded fitting. ID/OD was the same.
Other issue was a possible interference with the top of the jack to the trailer structure. etrailer measurement was spot on as I had 1/2" clearance to play with.

Jack worked great- just as advertised. Had to make some modifications to it, since it was being used as a ramp jack on a dock, replacing a old Bulldog jack.
Works as expected
Very nice sidewind jack. Much better quality than the jack stand that came with the trailer. I needed this with a wheel to help with moving my DropTail motorcycle trailer. Works great. The jack stand wheel etrailer.com recommended to go with it went right on and fits well.
I literally ordered this 48 hours ago. Incredibly fast delivery! This jack is heavy duty and will be mounted on my Genie hydraulic with a dual caster wheel assembly.
The Bulldog swivel jack bolted bolted up easily and lifts the tongue of my small cargo trailer easily. The top of the jack’s tube did not come with a cap, so the greased gears are exposed to the elements (and my thumb, which I immediately stuck in the grease.) Otherwise, this would be a 5-star review.

Works flawlessly. I actually use one one my trailer tongue and one for my home built 4’ bedroom slide out. Drain holes after a heavy rain would be a nice addition but a simple upside tip works just fine.
Purchased a Drop-Tail Trailer without a Trailer Jack. etrailer recommended the products, mailed them FREE & got everytrhing in TWO DAYS. Installed without any issues. Highly Recommend!!
Best thing I did when I bought this item for my trailer it keeps the trailer from tilling back no more looking for lumber or cinder blocks to prevent the trailer from tilling
They have been exposed to all kind of weather and they show no signs of rust or damage they work great a good quality piece of equipment

This Jack does not come with the mounting hardware as it states on the bottom of it’s page. When one calls up to find out the correct mounting hardware / bracket because the page doesn’t tell you that. It’s a different brand. Oh yeah, you will have to call and place a third order and pay more shipping because they don’t include the pivot bolt.
Jack was as advertised. Photos on website were very helpful in selecting this product. Customer service was great! Prompt shipping.
I was unable to find this product anywhere locally and waited 2 weeks for the wrong replacement jack from a local vendor. Received the OEM replacement in 2 days from
etrailer...very happy and satisfied...you have a new customer !!!
