This is the perfect bolt on Jack to replace the cheap center mounted jack that is too close to your truck to even open your tail gate. This jack with the tall drop down keeps cranking to a minimum and way more steady than the original jack when you a moving around in the trailer!

by:

Corrosion developed within months, and it became very difficult to operate the jack. Also, the mounting bracket plates are not strong enough, and the jack bent sideways on a windy day. Very disappointed with this jack.

Comments
I would like to ask a few follow-up questions. Do you still have the jack? Would you be able to send a picture of it? What is the loaded tongue weight of your trailer? What is the loaded total weight capacity of the trailer?
-- Etrailer Expert Jenny N - 05/09/2022

by:

Roll pin fell out of the crank handle and was unable to remove the trailer from my truck. Reached out to Fulton about the issue but no response as expected.

by:

Typically have to replace my trailer jack annually due to launching in saltwater. 12 months later and still looks and operates as new.

by:

This jack is solid! Much more stable than the swivel mount I replaced this with. My boat and trailer are 11,000 lbs. not sure what the tongue wait is but this jack can handle it and more. It was delivered in 2 days. Great customer service and just as fast as that other retailer. Great communication by etrailer on shipping updates as well.

Comments
It’s still working great and holding up to the weather just fine.

Top plastic caps are always broken during shipping and handle parts missing.

Thank you for your review about your experience with etrailer. We sent you new jacks and were wondering if you had any feedback about the product for other shoppers?

by:

Teresa was awesome to work with. Had a broken dust cap in transit. Called it was replaced and shipped out promptly. etrailer is where one needs to go for all trailering needs.

by:

Looks like a sturdy lift. Does exactly what it was intended for. The box was a bit beat up, and had a hole in it, but all the pieces were there, and in good condition. I wish it was either stainless, or galvanized, but otherwise it's pretty sweet! Most of all, it arrived much earlier than expected, and that's always a good thing!! I'm definitely a satisfied customer. Thank you.

by:

Excellent product. Good price point. Prompt shipping.

by:

Great product and sturdy build. I felt it was a great value after comparision shopping.

by:

Like it very much. Does the job really well. I have several bouts and when I need one I will come here.

by:

Exactly as listed. Worked perfect for my application. Only use a few times a year.

by:

Great jack and works well on my 27’ trailer. The adjustable foot is very convenient. My trailer is stored outside and this jack has handed the Michigan seasons very well so far. I’d recommend this jack and would buy again.

by:

The handle broke after using it twice. I got to the boat ramp, and it was broken off, which made it quite the pain to unload and load the boat that day. Fulton customer service was great, they had me send pictures, then sent a replacement. That’s why I gave it two stars

by:

Fast Shipping, Thanks!

by:

Nice heavy bolt on jack. Easy to attach to trailer frame. I just wish I could have mounted it to the center support frame for a more central location. The center frame would have to have extra metal welded to it for the bolt on to fit better. Other than that a good, good product.

Jack working great!
Edward L - 03/10/2021

by:

The new Fulton Trailer jack that I purchased replaced an older version which had been on my EZ-Loader trailer since 2003. The new jack is superior to the old one because it has a half of a hole at the base of the jack to allow water to drain out. Installation was simple because I mounted the new jack at the same location as the old one (which was full of rust on the interior).

by:

Excellent product, easy install. Now able to get my boat level on my sloping driveway. Well worth the price. ETrailer always come true with good prices and videos explaining how the jack works.

by:

The Fulton Jack works great. High quality. Strong welds. It was easy to bolt onto the rear bumper. I located it to span across where the frame is welded to the bumper. With two jacks on the rear bumper and the A-frame jack I can easily set the side-to-side and front-back level. With two jacks, the A-frame jack, the two wheels, and the four stabilizers thats 9 points of contact. The trailer is level and does not move. The Fulton jack comes with the adjustable drop-leg to cover a wide range of heights.
E-trailer was very helpful for a smooth transaction. Thanks Jean!

Comments
Note on my 908/2015 review:I am using the Fulton jacks on a small Jayco trailer. By using all nine points of contact 2 tires, 3 jacks and 4 stabilizers, I am trying not to over-stress the 18 ft frame. Stress might not damage the frame but it might crack the RV body panel joints and seals. I just want to point out that for longer trailers you cannot simply bolt the jack on the bumper and unload the main axle. Check with the trailer manufacturer on how to apply jacking loads. Longer trailers might need additional jack stands toward the middle to reduce the stress on the frame. The wheels are designed to take the load so blocking the wheels is still a good way to go.

I need my bow very high and this jack is pretty nice, easy to use and has ben sitting int he middle of the desert sun for a year and still works well.

by:

Shipped and arrived on time. The box was smashed and had a hole where foot of jack was located. No damage to the jack. Well built. Instructions in the box were for a different style jack. To secure jack to boat trailer frame more securely I purchased U bolts that fit the frame. The holes in the bracket lined up perfectly. Very easy to install. Will see how it holds up to saltwater.

Comments
Box was smashed but everything was still there. Mounted up easy worked great the first two trips. Then the pin through the gear fell out and I had to pull jack apart, dig through grease and replace the pin. Lucky for me I have done this before. Glad I was at home and not on vacation somewhere. Been working well ever since.

Perfect for a load trail alumin trailer for a 27ft boat !

by:

Use on double axle boat trailer with 23' boat. Replaced a "wheeled" version of the tongue jack. The extra height this unit provides is very welcomed. The unit has been extremely sturdy and is very stable with all that weight. Have had no issues in the year I have had this unit. Cranking is smooth and easy, even under weight.

by:

Having purchased a replacement part from etrailer first for my Fulton jack, I was very happy with the service I received and how my customer rep helped ensure that I picked the correct part. It arrived quickly and I then noticed that my jack was rusted beyond repair. I emailed Patrick and he replied quickly and made returning the part and ordering this new jack a breeze! I finally received this jack and it installed in minutes. It is heavy duty and overkill for my little skiff, but I could not be happier. Great customer service, fair pricing, and awesome products.

by:

For my use, an 18 foot boat trailer, it is an excellent product. The crank is easy to use and has a smooth action. Quality of construction is evident and should be very resistant to corrosion from saltwater. The lifting capacity is more than I need but the stability and total lift height are impressive. I can raise the tongue high enough for the boat to drain thoroughly. I highly recommend this jack for use on boat trailers.

The only hardware we have for the Fulton Square, Fixed-Mount Marine Jack # FHD2500 that you referenced is what comes with it. The hardware shouldn't have a problem with a 4 by 3 inch frame but worst case scenario you could have the jack welded to the trailer.
