Today, we're going to be taking a look at the front, center, or rear hanger, for double-eye springs. This hanger can be used as a front hanger on single axle applications, and it can be used as a front, center, or rear hanger, on tandem or triple axle applications. It's going to fit 1 3/4" wide double-eye springs with 9/16" diameter eyes. It does work with a 9/16" diameter bolt, hardware sold separately. The unit's made from a sturdy steel construction. It measures around 3/16" thick.
It is a weld-on application, so this will weld directly to the trailer frame. The height measurement for a hanger is taken from the center of the mount hold to the top of the hanger. The height for this particular one is going to give us a measurement of about 4 1/4". The overall length, looking at about 3". External width is about 2 5/6" to 2 3/8".
Internal width, it's going to measure about 1 7/8 to 1 15/16", and then the overall height of the unit, that's going to measure about 4 7/8" tall. Then the holes on the unit, again, have that diameter of 9/16". That's going to do it for today's look at the front, center, or rear hanger, for double-eye springs.

Might have even been a little thicker gage metal than my originals. I added angle gussets to all my hangers to hopefully keep them from breaking again.
Trailer Doesn't Have broken springs anymore. Fun stuff! Good product, fit properly, no complaints.
These were purchased to assist with raising a dual-axle travel trailer. They arrived well packaged, and looked to be well made.They took readily to welding, so there was no issue with inferior material. The attached images show them being welded side-by-side to the frame rail extensions, then the entire assembly attached to the main frame.

When I disassembled my springs and shackles to replace the worn items I discovered my hangers were not worn at all. I completed my rebuild of the suspension and had some welding done on the frame that Terry did not complete back in 1996. I ended up using the hangers as barter for a portion of the frame rework.
The suspension parts I used from you folks fit and worked as expected and we took our 1996Tterry 5W to Texas this spring and had a good time.

Parked in the middle of the Mojave desert I noticed that the wheels and tires
on one side of my old Crusader travel trailer were quite close together, within

Such a common part. Cleaned up the frame with a grinder and drilled two
Holes. Two grade 8 nuts, bolts and lock washers. Saved about 15 times the
Cost of the part and shipping. Bravo!!
Perfect match, and the info on the website helped me get the spacing right (factory hangers weren't welded on right so the springs were always cocked)

Hi Patrick, still happy as a clam with my order. I took an old camper trailer frame and cut it down to make a canoe kayak trailer. Your info on the web site and parts helped A LOT. We have used the trailer several times. Good stuff. I have 5 trailers, yall are my go to place for parts.

My only disappointment was not being able to purchase 4-1/4" front hanger brackets in a kit. I was forced to purchase the kit with 3-1/4" brackets and order the 4-1/4" brackets separately.

Product has preformed well no issues
Good heavy duty/high gauge stock.....as good as or better/than the originals.
It was just what I needed. Installation was typical. This part replaced a broken one on a fifth wheel trailer. Shipping was great!
I purchased two of these to replace the hangers that broke on my 5th wheel. The are exact replacements for the originals.
The product itself is excellent, unfortunately somewhere the incorrect label was placed on 2 inch wide spring hangers and the correct appllicationfor the part number is 1-3/4". E-trailer is correcting and providing a shipping label to return the others. Slight delay but sometimes that stuff happens. No worries. The free shipping on $150 orders make up for a lot on heavy parts.
The hanger on my trailer was separating from frame. After torching off the old hanger, welding in a support plate- this was a simple replacement. Still holding up well 1 year later.
Great product worked perfect for replacement on tandem axle trailer. Had a spring perch broken.
Perfect fit and no one else had this specific size needed to match my trailer. I would purchase again if the other side breaks an ear off (let's hope not)
I have had good luck with the products I’ve been buying for the last few years. I fabricate trailers, etc. and have been going by type of material and measurements. So far all parts ordered have worked.
I try to purchase local when I can but the local trailer places charge from 2 to 4 times what I can get parts from etrailer. So I come to etrailer for all my trailer parts. Service is great and shipping it quick for items in stock. I currently have a few things on backorder that are taking some time.
