Surface-Mount Light

Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

These lights were one of several different items I've purchased from etrailer.com,and probably the simplest, however, each item I have gotten has been exactly what I expected. They all matched and fit perfect, even on one of my older campers. Products were shipped in a timely manner and I received them in good condition. So far, , no complaints!

During a camping trip, I lost the red reflector from my camper tail light and needed a replacement. After trying three times without success to obtain an OEM replacement from Camping World (my local Forest River dealer), I decided to buy online. I could not find an offer of just the reflector, but found this total tail light assembly from etrailer for an acceptable price even with shipping cost. Received the product in 3 days - better than expected at time of order. Tried the reflector on my camper and it fit perfectly. It did not, however, correct the installed defect on my camper mounting bracket; so I added some adhesive sealant in the hopes this reflector will not fall off from the plastic spring-loaded tabs like the original.

Good replacement lights for my vintage 1992 camper. If you know how to do some very basic wiring, you can replace these lights in about an hour. They were pretty close to the old lights I was replacing and worked great. I would recommend these if they fit your camper.

by:

Exact tail light I was looking for. It’s a perfect match for our 2011 Laredo camper.

Quality product, exact replacement tail lights for our 2004 Keystone Challenger 5th Wheel RV. Easy online purchase. Excellent communication with etrailer regarding shipping / tracking info. THANK YOU etrailer !!

by:

Product delivered met what I expected and fit my trailer perfectly.

by:

New red lense cover fit perfect over existing white hardware that was already mounted to the trailer. I will keep the bulb and white hardware for backup parts.

by:

Great Customer Service, Donna was very helpful and professional. The parts were exactly what I needed. Great experience I will order again.

by:

I would recommend this company to anyone fast and accurate service. I will be installing my lights tomorrow!

by:

Package arrived today and thank you for the follow-up regarding my order. I will be going to my camper next week to install the tail lights. They appear to be identical to the OEM tail lights so I think it will just be remove and install installation. Again, thank you for following up on my order.

by:

The quality of the items was given a "3 for average". The light was in good condition, being protected by a plastic bag. There was another plastic bag in the package with a large hole, where the other items presumably has escaped. Those items were roughed-up, but being suspension parts their surface condition is of little consequence. It is strange that their plastic bag wore in transit.

by:

It was exactly what I was looking. Dimensions were exact.

by:

Purchased the Bargman 92 Series tail lights as a replacement for our 2000 Jayco camper. Lights were exactly as described. Quality is way better than expected for the price. The package arrived within days of placing the order and was wrapped securely so nothing was damaged. Installation was quick and easy. Tracking information was provided for every step of the way. We will definitely be using etrailer again!

by:

Exact replacement for a Keystone Cougar. Quick delivery!

by:

I installed it and sealed it from the weather. It has, both sides, been working flawlessly since I stalled them. Would buy them again.

by:

Great product, fast shipping. Great doing business with.
Thanks

by:

The replacement tail lights look better than the originals and fit perfectly.

by:

As described, shipped fast, A+

by:

We purchased these for a 1997 Coachman. They fit perfectly and work great! Thank you for making this a seamless process!

by:

The lens was broke but I called Vicky and she is sending a new one. Must’ve happened in shipping.

by:

Product was great except mounting holes were a bit off compared to my old ones

by:

Great products & service.
Thanks!!!

Having owned this for a year, it's held up nicely. (We do store our trailer in a building, so the effects of sun and weather aren't as bad on the wear of the light cover.) But a year out from the purchase, the reflective and brightness of the light cover when braking or turning are excellent.

  • Information Needed to Find Replacement Taillight Assemblies for 2002 Tent Trailer
So the lamps you're replacing look like the # 30-92-003, but the mounting holes are in a different location, is that correct? Finding the part numbers of the original lamps on your trailer would be the best bet. Any numbers on the lens of the lamp are DOT compliance numbers that wouldn't be helpful in matching to a replacement lamp, but many times on the interior of the lamp or on the rear of the lamp housing you can find a part number. If you could reply with that number or with a couple...

  • Replacing Bargman 30-91-10 Rear Brake Light on 1994 Palomino Pop Up Camper
I spoke with my contact at Bargman and he informed me that the 91 Series Bargman Lights, like what you have on your camper, are no longer produced by the manufacturer and the replacement lenses are not available. For the rear brake light on your Palomino Pop Up Camper, you will need to replace the assembly. To replace the assembly, I recommend looking at a Bargman 92 Series Light like # 30-92-001, as these are very similar to the 91 Series models. This light assembly measures 8-9/16 inches...

  • How to Wire the Stop, Turn and Tail Light, # 30-92-001
The Stop, Turn and Tail Light, # 30-92-001, has a total of 3 wires. The white wire is the ground and needs to be connected to a clean and corrosion free metal surface. It sounds as if the clearance lights are using the turn signal function instead of the running light function. Usually, the running light function on a trailer is a brown wire. You can use a circuit tester to find the correct wire. This wire will split off at some point near the rear of the trailer with one end going to...

You took the exact first step I would take when trying to solve this issue by testing the trailer connector on your vehicle. That tells us that the issue is definitely on the trailer somewhere and it sounds to me like it is a bad ground. The next step that I would take is to make sure all of my ground connections are good and clean. The first thing you'll want to do is get the trailer connector on the truck operational again. The procedure for this will depend largely on the year, make and model of the truck. If the truck is newer, it would likely have a factory tow package that uses relays to control and fuses to protect the towing circuits. When you checked the function of the connector on the truck, are all the features dead (right turn/brake, left turn/brake and running light) or are some working? If some are...

I went out to the warehouse and, using our digital calipers, took the dimensions of the holes that you will need screws for. The diameter of the hole measured 5.25mm. So you will need screws small enough for that hole with a length of 25mm or longer. I recommend crossheads screws and a Phillips head screwdriver.

  • Why Will Fuse Blow When Brakes or Turn Signal is Applied on 2008 Ford F-250 Towing a Trailer
It sounds as if you have a ground connection issue, or a short on the tail light circuit on the trailer. Most likely it is a bad ground that will need to be found. The bad ground shows up when the tail lights are turned on and the brake or blinker is used because that is when the highest amount of amperage draw is placed on the wiring. I would start with the trailer connector on the truck and trailer. Open them up and make sure there is no white or green corrosion causing an issue inside...

If the second wire is white it most likely is a ground wire and would just need to be run to a clean, metal surface. Rewiring a travel trailer like yours would be pretty challenging as you will need to most likely remove interior walls to access the wiring. • How to Properly Ground Trailer Marker and Taillights
Each lamp needs to be grounded either through its mounting studs being in direct contact with the trailer frame or by having a jumper wire ran from the lamp to the trailer frame. Ground the trailer connector at the front of the trailer, which will use the trailer frame as a ground wire. This method is the most simple and effective.
