Specs:
Recessed-mount trailer lights install with a grommet, which is often sold separately. These lights extend past the trailer surface and require a hole for installation. If replacing a light, you can utilize the pre-existing hole. If installing a new light, you will need to cut a hole or use a mounting bracket (sold separately) to complete the installation.

I was grateful these were still made, and opted to go with these LED units over another set of incandescent ones. They're nice and bright, dropped right in, and no complaints 1 year on.
I first ordered and didn't realize they were sold individually. So I did order another one. They are a replacement for the original style lights that were not LED. They fit perfectly and are really bright. I soldered and heat shrinked all the wiring and installed butyl tape when I installed them. I did order the metal resistors so that I didn't have the hyper flash. They renew the look of an older RV. The shipping was two days and I loved that.
Replaced all of the old incandescent tail and third brake lights on the rear of my old trailer. The installation was easy and only took a couple of hours. All the mounting holes lined up and it was a direct replacement. The trailer is considerably brighter now with 1/4th of the current drain. Now the trailer lights up like the Christmas Coca-Cola trucks. Trailer is much more visible at night and in the daytime making traveling much safer. I would recommend this upgrade for anyone having older trailers with the incandescent lighting.
The backup light on my RV went out. The problem was a rusted bulb socket. I would have to replace the whole tail/backup/brake assembly. SO......I decided to "go LED" and order the Bargman Triple Tail Light 84 series from etrailer. The order was processed and delivered quickly. There was a bit of work to modify the existing cutout to accept the new Bargman Triple Tail Light. But I think it was worth it. I also installed the LED Backup Light Upgrade Kit to the Triple Tail Light. These really look good on the MotorHome and I should not have to work on them again. The picture shows the old and the new installed for comparison.
No instructions just black green and white wires
Very disappointed
The LED units installed easily and are brighter than the old incandescent ones. Moisture entering the old units corroded them. This should avoid that problem. They look nice.
Excellent product, have not had any issues at all. They are bright lights that make it very visible to be seen. Only small issue is that my flashers blink a little faster than normal but I’m fine with that.
Excellent replacement and addition with LED brightness.
We really like them, they are bright and improve the looks of our motorhome. They fit perfect and were easy to install also.
We have an older camper that we wanted to update the taillights on. We bought the resistor's in case of hyperflash, but didn't need them. We LOVE the difference in the lights! We had no issues with replacing the lights, the dimensions were a perfect fit!
I'm very satisfied with my Bargman LED 84/85 Series trailer light. They are super bright and easy install. I've had them installed on my '94 class C RV for over a year and they are still as bright as the day I installed them. Since my current tail light assembly was same 84/85 series but incandescent and this LED Kit was an upgrade same series it was a direct fit. However since my vehicle was originally set up with incandescent bulbs front and back and now has the LED rear I had to replace vehicle's flasher relay to get rid of Hyper flash/bulb out fast blink indication. Now it flashes like it did before the replacement and I don't ever have to worry about corrosion on socket or bulb out again for a long time. Trip to Oreilly auto parts and under $4 for the upgraded flasher relay that handles both LED and incandescent lights in same circuit and hyper flash is gone. Other reviews suggested installing load resistors but there are 2 reasons why I didn't do that. Reason 1) load resistors get hot, by nature resistors resist current (hence their name) but get hot its same thing a light bulb does but we use that heat to create light by heating up filament that glows. I didn't have anything to mount the load resistors to but wood and didn't want to set my coach on fire. Reason 2) LED are low power draw on circuit and only require .5 volt to operate. I didn't want to load down my vehicles alternator unnecessarily by throwing in 6 large resistors (since I have 2 triple tail light assemblies it would require 6 resistors) that do nothing more than electrically slow down or throttle down current flow. The other thing extra resistance does in the circuit is to dim lights because there's less current flowing through the light filament it won't glow as bright because there's less current flow than before. I didn't want to spend money to dim the lights that I spent extra money to make them brighter and therefore more noticeable for the brainless, texting, snot tailgating me to not see when I put on the brakes. I hope this quick electrical 101 lesson helps others in their decision since none of the reviews mentioned upgrading the flasher relay too.
well-constructed
Bought these light for a 1997 dynamic wrecker, perfect fit and look great. Couldn't get the lights from dynamic anymore and the lights that were on the truck when I bought it were busted up halogen.
Love this taillight!!! The price was great and it was easy to install-I had a neighbor help and we did it in 30 minutes.
Great Product. Easy replacement for older RVs to upgrade to LED. You will need load resisters to prevent hyperflash turn signals. No biggie. Very bright and really quick shippers here.
The load resistors that we currently have are the Aluminum version 2 pack # P230004A-2
Putco LED Light Bulb Load-Resistors - Aluminum - Qty 2
$32.18 and the Ceramic 2 pack version # P230004C-2
Putco LED Light Bulb Load-Resistors - Ceramic - Qty 2
$23.88 both of which have a provide a resistance of 6 ohms.
I give e- trailer a 5. You all were great, keeping me informed on the status of my order. My disappointment is that Bargman does not provide a seal with the light or sell them separately.
Great product works great easy to install E trailer is a pleasure to deal with
Excellent service and quality!!! Super fast shipping! Will buy from this store again!
im happy with it but most of all amy was the one who went above to make happen she is a asset to company
I installed on my 2003 Coachman Leprechaun as I changed all lighting to LEDs. They work great and much brighter than my old lights. My ammeter hardly indicates a load when I turn my lights on. No more bulb replacement for me and no carrying spare bulbs everywhere I travel.
Once again etrailer provided perfect service!!! Their prices are great and shipping is super fast. On top of that, their customer service and technical support is second to none. I have been a long time customer and have never been disappointed.
I had already purchased two of these taillights awhile back to replace the old incandescent taillights on my truck camper. I needed another to mount on a storage box, that I am mounting on the back of my truck camper, since storage box is going to cover the camper's existing taillight. These led taillights are a vast improvement over the the old ones!!! Much brighter and gives our rv a more modern, updated look.
Thanks for my new tail lights love it ——
Just got around to installing the new Bargman tail lights on my 1995 Dolphin motor home. The turn signals flash very rapid and I believe I would need to install a resistor to cure this. Can you point me in the right direction ???
The LED taillights arrived in very good time and were in good condition. Easy install, and the lights on the camper work well and are much brighter and easy to see than the old incandescent lights. I have bought a couple items from Etrailer and the website and service has been good each time. It's a pleasure dealing with this company.
