Surface-Mount Light
Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Delivery was on or before the date provided when I ordered. Products arrived extremely well packaged.
This is a nice, bright tail light BUT it does not have a clear lens illuminating the licence plate. The are slots for a clear lens in the mounting plate. I called eTrailer and was advised the fixture does not come with a clear lens for the licence plate bulb. This is not a true LED fixture as the bulb that illuminates the licence plate is an incandescent. The tail, turn brake, running lights are all LED.
I Would not recommend this tail light assembly only because it does not have a lens for the licence plate - this large opening will allow road debris, moisture, etc to enter the fixture.
I made my own lens and in the process of fitting, and fine tuning the fitment, broke one of the tabs holding the main lens. Nothing a dab of clear silicone didn’t remedy.

I've had these tail lights installed for about a year. They are much improved over the original tail lights. They are plenty bright and I haven't had any issues with them. They were easy to install and I sealed around them with caulking.

Purchased to replace taillights on an old Pop-Up. Easy to install. I used solder and shrink tubing. Quality is OK for all plastic housing. There was some damage from shipment but it appears from worse than usual handling as the carton was crushed. etrailer Customer Service was great, 5 stars, in getting me a replacement. Time will tell on durability but for now everything looks good.

Just received the lights and will be installing this week. They arrived in great condition and well packaged. These are replacements for original Bargeman lights on my 21 yr old trailer and will complete my update to all led lighting. Noted that license plate light is not led and at the price of these lights it should have been. I have a led bulb that will fit and I’ll make that changeover. Otherwise these look exactly like my current lights and should be a quick change and provide much better lighting. Thanks etrailer for a nice product and fast service.

So far I haven't mounted the light on my trailer but did hook it up to my trailer plug on the truck. Wanted to see how bright it was and if there was hyper-flashing. Brighter than I thought it would be and there is no hyper-flashing. So I am happy. Bought one for each side (not a license bracket).

I was replacing my original Command Electronics tail lights with their LED version. All went well but I did need to reroute the wires in the new lights through some other hole/slot in the back of the light unit since they came out toward the left side rather than the middle of the unit. They look and work great.

Very nice looking, the LED’s you can see from a good distance. Our RV only had bulbs that you couldn’t see, that’s the reason we changed them.

- Turn and Stop Signal Not Illuminating On LED Command Trailer Tail LightI can help you with wiring the Command trailer tail light part # 328-003-81LBM1 but we do not have a diagram available. The good news you are getting power to the light since it illuminates but the turn and stop do not work. The first step is to check the white ground wire coming from the light to make sure it is grounded to a clean bare metal surface.
