P2-Rated Lights
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

I am completely happy with my experience purchasing at etrailer. The search engine on their website found my desired product instantly. The photo of the lens and its various dimensions on their website assured me that it matched my original broken lens. The price for the compete light was less expensive than buying only the lens cover on Amazon. I mounted the light and it is working. So, naturally I highly recommend etrailer!

This light is an exact replacement for the carry on 817-2T. Just what I needed to replace a broken light on my carry on trailer. Since both lights are made in Taiwan I suspect they are made at the same factory.

The part is fine ,but too many businesses are using USPS for delivery and they are WORTHLESS. You're not saving money You're losing repeat customers. You're choice but myself9 and many others have given up on the snail mail they're just not worth it.

Would have given 5 stars had you included the 2 screws needed to install them— could only install 2 because I lost the other 4 screws I needed or they were too rusted to use— now I will have to take the extra time and trip to hardware store to try to find 4 screws needed to install— otherwise the lights fit and worked just fine.

This light does not come with the mounting hardware. Most of the lights like this will not come with with mounting hardware however if they do it would be listed in the product page.
