The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

P2 rated.These lights are exactly what I wanted to replace the existing marker lights on my boat trailer. I won't be able to mount them until the spring but I checked and they all work. I am happy to say they are much brighter than I expected and seem to be very well made. I would definitely order these again if needed.
The wiring adapter connected properly to my truck's factory, wiring adapter for electric trailer brake controller. It also subsequently connected properly to the Tekonsha Brake EVN electric brake controller I also purchased from etrailer. Everything worked properly towing my trailer.
Seems like some well-made and water sealed lights for my boat trailer. I will update if they don’t work! Arrived quickly right to my front door!
Bought these a few yrs ago for another trailer project. So I figured why not buy, them again for this project. Problem I had with last trailer is 1 wire corroded off recently. Big deal, I pit a new 1 on. Lets see how these do. I bought bezels for the heck of it.
The light looks good on my trailer I built to pull behind my motorcycle. I have used all led lights on the trailer for less draw on the bike. They are nice and bright in the day and night.

After a year the lights are still working great. I have had a few people ask me where I got the lights and I let them know etrailer has them for a good price.
optronics are the best. seems to out last the china crap for sure
Delivery of my order was super-fast. Side markers are as advertised and look very nice. I have yet to mount them., but I think it will be fairly easy.
Placed on boat trailer tire fenders to provide foot grip when climbing into boat. After 1 year still holding up well. No peeling or deterioration noticed. Great product.
Bought amber and red. Quality lights. Can't wait to get them On
Overall. Quality, performance, promp shipment,and reasonable price everything excellent.

Update-These lights have worked out great on my boat trailer for the past year. I have had no issues with water getting in the lens. They are bright and look great. Simple to install. I have used Optronics lights before and have never had an issue. I would not hesitate to buy again.
