Optronics MCL63 Series Miro-Flex Amber LED Marker Clearance Light Dimensions

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

P2-Rated Lights

Diagram of light spread for P2 rated light

A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Well that is not good to hear at all. Luckily this item has a lifetime limited warranty on all LEDs. Let me get you over to customer service for them to help you with troubleshooting and a possible warranty.

Beautiful lights. Clear, easy to install, fast service.
Now I need to order some roof lights

Awesome. Fit perfect to replace the old iridescent ones.

Took great and were a perfect fit. Replaced all the marker lights on my 1998 Alaskan with the amber and red. Don’t forget to get the mounting bracket.

These are exactly what I needed. Installed them the day I received them in the mail.

Lights were exactly what I needed to lower the total draw from the 15 running lights on my trailer that kept blowing out the fuse on my Honda Pilot. And they are brighter than the old style. Easy to install - just pops right in. Thanks

I purchased this to have as a spare for the ones that are on my trailer. They are exactly like the ones I have and fit perfectly.

Awesome product at an excellent price I would definitely recommend these for anyone who has a trailer

Great products looks good on Trailor.

Just fine

Works as it should.

I replaced all of the lights on my trailer with LED lights. I wanted to be very visible at night for safety reasons, etrailer helped me out with this. I put a dab of die-electric grease on the contacts as I did this. My trailer is extremely visible at night, now.

Perfect replacement for my 2004 OEM lights. I converted the in closed trailer to LED. It’s been around a year and everything is just fine. Remember, quality first price second. [base plate A65PB, LED yellow AL91AB, LED red AL91RB]

Nice lights- they plugged right into the existing light sockets and are much brighter. They seem to be holding up well against wet and snowy weather.

A year later and the lights are still nice and bright.

I would have given 5 stars, but I initially got the wrong part and had to get that straightened out.

Your prices are good, your selection great, super fast shipping (@ a great rate) I appreciate the follow up emails and tracking information!

You are awesome

Not what I expected. Lights were not complete. No mounting bases or wire leads. Just two plugs in that plug into nothing. With no instructions, Useless for a new trailer build .

THIS is my choice for enclosed trailer clearance lamps . Nice ass’y when used with corresponding mounting base . Same for the RED .

My new lights and harness were easy to attain understand and install. It came with everything I needed to rewire and install new lights in out and around my entire trailer.

All lights worked as expected. Not only are these LED type brighter than the original incandescent lights, the Optronics Miro-Flex type product looks great even when they are not lit.

Good service

Replaced Sealed incandescent lights with LEDs. Couldn’t be happier. Lights are much brighter and have lasted or year so far having been dipped in salt water frequently.

I have not assembled the trailer yet, but the quality of the parts
is good, delivery was quick and the price was great due to the
free shipping. So far my favorite place to buy trailer parts.

I have replaced all my lights and wiring on my boat trailer! I love the quality of the lights that I have bought!

Mounted onto A66PB bases lights are very bright. Used to replace old reflector none submersible lights on boat trailer..Excellent upgrade

  • How to Pick Out Trailer Hubs for Older Dilly Trailer
In order to pick out the correct hub assembly for a trailer you are going to need know a few key pieces of information. I wish there was a way to find out what you need based solely on trailer info that you gave, but that's not something that's readily available. The first thing you will need to know is the bolt pattern of your hubs. This is so you get a hub that is compatible with your wheels. I attached an FAQ article on determining bolt pattern for you to check out. Next thing you will...

  • Is the Optronics Micro-Flex LED Clearance Light Both a Light and Reflector
My contact at Optronics confirmed that the # MCL63AB Sealed Micro-Flex Light is only a clearance light and not also a reflector. The reflective geometric design in the lens is to help to increase the light output of the LED. It will not really reflect much light that will happen to shine at the lens.

  • What is Difference between Miro Flex and Thin Line Optronics Clearance Lights
The Miro-Flex part # MCL63AB and the Thin Line part # MCL75AB are both very similar. They essentially are just visual differences for the lens. The Miro Flex has more of a Euro style look where you can see the diodes and the reflective base in the light whereas the Thin Line has the diodes obscured. Both would work well and I would recommend you pick which you like the appearance of more.

  • Chrome Base Recommendation for the Optronics Clearance Light # MCL63AB
Yes, the Chrome Bracket and Single Wire Plug # A67CB that you referenced is the correct base for the # MCL63AB and # MCL63RB that you plan on getting. The reason this bracket uses a single wire is because the light will ground through the mounting hardware. If you needed to run a second ground wire to the assembly you would only need to run the stripped ground wire around the mounting screw that attaches to the side of the base with the ground strap. See picture I attached to see which...
