The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

These lights were exactly what I needed, I didn't find them any where else, I have an all Aluminum Trailer and they go on the fenders, as the law requires for trailers over 80" wide.

These lights are hard to find and I found them at etrailer for a good price plus they had the black mount brackets they snap into for mounting. I needed them to replace some that were broken on my trailer. I also order some to go on the Fenders of my equipment trailer. They look so neat.

I can see the amber part of the light very well shining in my rear-views in daylight; don't yet know if this will be a distraction at night. Very visible compared to non LED.
This light is made to accommodate a good sized bracket mounting screw under it; if you use a pan head screw you shouldn't have to worry about interference-check first.
Pete - 02/25/2017Great replacement parts for my enclosed box trailer that was damaged in the Camp Fire in 2018. The trailer held up pretty well but the marker lights, tail lights and fender lights all melted during the fire. These were perfect replacements and mounted very easily.

I purchased these lights for the fenders on my trailer over a year ago. These are not only brighter then my original ones but are also more durable. I travel all over the USA with my trailer and have never had an issue with these lights. I would definitely recommend these to anyone thinking of replacing their lights. CLIFFORD V - 03/08/2019Not my first order from etrailer and definitely not my last. My only complaint would be in the packing of small or fragile items loosely in a box with heavier items. One of the trailer light mounts was broken when it got here. No other issues though.
Laura E - 07/15/2017My truck is grey, my trailer is grey, I replaced all the marker and tail lights on my 09' 7x14 tandem HaulMark with these and now have better visibility during the day. After a year i still am very happy. I noticed the lights are directional, so if your at the side during the day you have to look at them straight on to see if they are working but thats really not an issue. You have markers on all four sides just for that reason as well as reflectors. I have actually gotten unsolicited compliments from other contractors on the trailer since i got these.

This particular LED Light was purchased to replace a previously installed light which broke. While the lights are effective cost wise, they are not especially durable for utility trailer fender applications. I do believe that these lights would be better suited for a van style trailer fender application.
I bought the series of thin line replacement lights for my 2005 Haulmark trailer. They fit and worked perfectly, are as visible as the originals (with restored color as well - the old ones were sun-faded) while drawing much less power.
Now the 5 amp fuse that most cars have for a tail light will safely run all of the tail, clearance, and interior lights on the trailer without blowing the fuse.
The first time I plugged in the trailer with the original lights it blew the fuse (without even the interior lights on).
Buying these lights was the perfect solution. Now any flat 4-wire plug on any car can be used to operate the trailer.
The LEDs are so much brighter than the old incandescent bulbs. Exact replacement for what I needed. Much easier to see at night and much brighter for others to see the location of the trailer fender at night. Reflects a color fan of light up the side of my white enclosed trailer and will work very well. Thinking of changing outbthe rest of the lights to LEDs.
Product was an exact replacement for a damaged light and it was simply plug and play. The only comment I have is that I missed the fact that this item was only the light and did not included the wired mounting base. I noted that you carry the mount as a separate item but I don't recall a note in this item description that the mount, if needed, was not included and had to be purchased separately. My apologies if I missed that. Perhaps a cross-reference in your catalog to the mounting base would be helpful. Fortunately, my mounting base was okay and the new light plugged in and worked.
Lights were exactly what I needed to lower the total draw from the 15 running lights on my trailer that kept blowing out the fuse on my Honda Pilot. And they are brighter than the old style. Easy to install - just pops right in. Thanks
I cant tell you how disappointed I am...........that I did not find out about etrailer.com until now. The LED marker lights that I installed on my Haulmark Lowhauler are simply amazing. They are brighter than the big name companies truck lites out there that I had bought. It is too late for me to return my other lites but I went ahead and changed all the lights on my Nautique boat trailer with your products. It is the difference between night and day. Upgraded all lighting to LED lights on 2006 Haulmark utility trailer. The new LED lighting provides highly visible safety clearance lighting for night and day use. etrailer website is easy to use, my orders were quickly filled and promptly delivered. Good job!
Just what I needed for my stock trailer. This light is made better than the original.
we had a tire blow out on our horse trailer that caused the original fender clearance light to pop off. luckily the base was ok and fender damage was minimal. finding an LED replacement locally was not an option. I ordered 2 of these snapped one on and it lit right up no problem. Now we have a spare just in case!
