The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

This is Optronics Thin Line LED Trailer Clearance Light, part number MCL66AB. This light is sealed and waterproof, so it is safe to use on boat or jet ski trailers. Inside are 6 LEDs that draw a total of .048 amps at 12.8 volts. It is designed to surface mount to your trailer using mounting holes that are 3 inches on center. On the back of the light are your 2 wire leads. The white wire lead with an eye-ring terminal for ground and the black lead for power. Next, we will hook up the light to a power source, so you can see how it looks. We will connect the white to our ground and we will connect the black to our power. Next, we will turn off the overhead lights, so you can see how bright it is. And that is it for Optronics Thin Line LED Trailer Clearance Light, part number MCL66AB.

Replace original equipment same light excellent easy installation
I bought these to replace all the old ones on a camper re-fit. I bought both Amber and Red. I replaced the entire fixture and it was worth the effort. These are very bright and moisture proof so they don't get bad connections. I soldered the wires into the wiring though.
Exactly what I was looking for and arrived in a timely matter.

I have used etrailer on several occasions and have been very pleased to find the items I needed here when I couldn't find them anywhere else. Great. Couldnt be happier. Still like new and saltwater is incredibly corrosive.

I found the correct light, finally, and now have all my clearance lights working properly.
It took awhile to find the replacement for the originals, but these are the ones. My originals were Peterson M160A
Nice an bright. Holes lined up perfectly for my 2000 EZ Loader trailer and Skeeter. Only downside was that overall the light was slightly shorter than the OEM light which meant I had a hole to plug.
It would be difficult , if not impossible, to have a more helpful person facilitating the placing of an order than Paula at etrailer. I swapped out all incandescent light fixtures on my trailer with led, and the buyiing/ selection process was made a pleasure with her help.
These lights worked really nice fitting in to the corner openings on my Pace trailer. I love the fact that they are LED and don't pull much if any battery load.
I put these amber lights on the side of my utility trailer great choice totally sealed no maintenance .
Better light than what was originally installed on my trailer. Easy to install and still working great.
Tip notch product and customer service. Probably the best I've experienced. I got 11 of these lights and they are obviously well made. Will definitely shop around.
The product is what I been looking for. Pricey but I needed them. The 5 day delay in shipping is not impressive.

Very well constructed. I needed some lights that would mount flush on some 1" square tubing and these worked perfectly.
Simple and smooth design, two screws and two connectors to install.
The products comes nice but missing gasket ? Maybe the light comes with out gasket but the product is fine

Very nice, being waterproof and they are more than bright enough also. It was a good investment compared to the standard bulb kind that were on the camper by far.
